I don’t think this team is good, but I don’t think they are coach very well either. How many times are we going to get beat back door, or foul someone 80 feet from the basket. We shouldn’t be a 2-6 team

I don’t understand why we keep seeing the same things over and over. I don’t expect much from this team. I don’t think they are a complete roster at all, but we should be better. This ain’t it.

I don’t think any coach is gonna be down on his team pre season regardless of reality. I agree on the motivation part. I think he needs to land a couple more pieces, but agree that at this point that doesn’t appear to be happening for next year.

That being said he only has one less conference championship than our previous coach of 12 years and 2 less conference tourney championships.
 
I think we see some things he’s trying. Played small ball today, and it work. Didn’t get destroyed inside or rebounding while playing small. Vogt is playing less, still more than he should, but less overall. Harvey playing more and decent when he’s in there. Also looked like we played some 2-3 zone today, or maybe 3-2, but still. But it isn’t enough. Id love to just not press. It gets us in foul trouble too often.

It's unraveling quickly. We always had defense and hustle with offensive issues. Now. We have nothing.

Yeah what’s up with that? At the end of the year and in the summer John and Jarron both said they had a good relationship.

Brannen changed his whole game plan to cater to jarron and literally put the ball in jarrons hands every single time last year. I like jarron but I don’t think that’s the right move

Jarron is watching a culture of toughness dissolve that he and the guys before him helped build, I’d be upset too.

Maybe he’s going about it wrong, but I get his frustration

I think everyone is frustrated. 2-6 is never fun.
 
I get blaming the coach, he hasn’t done anything to help his self. I do understand that. Having said that, I don’t think the roster is that good. We don’t have a jarron or sk, guys that we had for 8 of the last 10 years. Guys you could just throw the ball and they could make a play. We have guys that can become good some day but we don’t have that yet. Keith is a great number 2 but he isn’t the guy we need him to be. Not his fault.

But we have many others problems too. We still shouldn’t be 2-6

I have a legit question. And it’s not a troll.

If Mick Cronin was coaching this same exact team. Are they 2-6 still?
 
To me, it’s not just that we’re 2-6

It’s that we’re 2-6 and right now I don’t see a sure fire win on the schedule.

2 away games next followed by a vastly improved ECU at home.

I’m just not sure when the bleeding stops
