UNC..5-11 ACC record. They would have been in. Laughable. As the tournament stands at the very most 20 teams can win it anyways (its more like 10) why throw in more teams? In a year where the bubble was miserable and it was hard to find deserving teams you guys want to add 30 teams?!?!

For those of you for the expansion (Great1/Ralph) I want to know 2-3 teams that would have a shot at winning it all that didnt make the tournament?

My point is- Everyone knows before the season what they have to do to make the tournament. If you cant make the field of 65 you simply are not a good team and dont deserve to be in anyways. Teams would make it on Name alone...prove in the regular season you deserve to be there. Point being-UNC 5 and freakin 11 in the ACC would be in the tournament--Ralph/Great 1 please explain to me why they deserve to be in the tournament.

UNC may have been 5-11 in the ACC but they were a better team than Arkansas Pine Bluff, Lehigh, Winthrop, and other low rung one bid conference winners who got in. Why not have the 64 best teams instead on the 45 best teams and 20 teams that do not belong?
