UC makes CBSSPORTSLINE top 25 and 1

Cincinnati does not make AP top 25 Memphis is 24th. WOW! Not so much that UC isn't in but the fact they aren't and Memphis is 24th in spite of a thorough beating by Cincinnati on their home court. UC is 26th with 103 points.

This makes 0 sense to me. I fully expected to be ranked, in our 6 game win streak we beat Pitt( who got a lot of votes this weeks), smu (who got nine votes this week), and won at memphis(who is still ranked). Wow thats just disrespect, I look at these other ranked teams and know we're better. But that's fine, we'll stay hunger and play with that chip on our shoulder. 26 is still good, I just know we deserve it, but let's take care of business at Houston then come home and take down Rutgers, and then they will have no choice but to put us in. This team wants it this year and they want that respect, they will be ready to go tomarrow, I can't wait!

Like I said I have no problem not being ranked. I have a problem with a team being ranked ahead of UC that they just beat at their place by 16.

Every year Mumphis brings in talented 5 star lottery picks. Every year they are ranked in the top 25/10. Every year they woefully underachieve in the post season(except one year).

Rinse, Wash, Repeat.

The media fawns over them every year and every year they underachieve.

Regardless, we spanked them like I predicted and we'll spank them again at home

Come on Jeff you seem like a smart guy, you must know that when a team gets ranked in the polls to begin with it is hard to knock them out. Case in point, Cincinnati remain ranked way too long last year. I am sure if Memphis losses to Louisville they will fall out and then if they win their next game (regardless of who it is) they will be right back in.

Take it as respect, that it wasn't seen as that bad of a loss because they think Cincinnati is a good team...

after we beat Houston and they lose to Louisvile we will be ranked ahead of them.

I'm fine with being at 26. First, they tend to crap their pants when they are ranked. Second, they are pretty close so if they keep winning they will be in and the fact that Memphis is still ranked will give them even more of a chip on their shoulder that they shouldn't lose any of these next few games.
 
23rd in the ESPN RPI and 27th in the BPI and 21st in KenPOM so 26TH AP is fairly in line with other indicators.
 
Is this a joke? Funny, but not happening. It's not frequent but we get female visitors and this is offensive. Please change your screen name.

Mods can we cross check IP addresses for duplicate screen names from the same ip and if someone is by-passing their ban, permenantly block the ip?
