I think this team has enough talent to make the tourney this year. I didn't know what to expect before the season started.

This team is only going to improve, maybe the slow starts scoring the ball are because guyn is in there? 2 bad turnovers to start the game, let troy start the game and see how guyn responds coming off the bench

Caupain should start plain and simple. He will only get better with minutes and will have bad moments too.

Like many I am not a fan of Dan D who broadcasted the game. Did find his comment concerning Mick being able to continue the Identity Huggs created that being lock down D and very tough rebounding teams as the trademark of our program. Can't help but think this Carrys a lot of weight with recruits such as Lawrence who have skills but aren't as physical as they need to be to go to next level.
On the post game Mick gave big time props to Rubles for his work on defensive end. We seem to beat him up for shot selection but his production goes well beyond making outside shots. He boards, assist and plays other teams best front court player.

KJ gave us great minutes 11 points 3 rebounds and acouple assist no fouls he needs more playing time wit the starting unit!

Here comes the Kevin Johnson fan club...
If u want to call it that that's fine I was at the game and watched what the young man did and I liked what I seen and I'm a true Cincinnati Bearcat fan I like this Kid I rather be a fan than a hater on a 18 year old kid that is producing more and more each week.

The best line up is Caupain, Kilpatrick, Sanders, Rubles and Jackson. I believe that is the line up we will see a lot more in conference play. I like Thomas, but he isn't playing very well this year...

And yet UC is holding them to about 35% shooting. I dont like the SK/ Johnson backcourt. Movement stops.

I think it's a great combo, he looks to push the ball, I value what you say but I see something different. We are likely to get some transition points. Johnson has great solid passing as well. We have seen something different from the Johnson kid every week, the kid is dangerous.

Let Shaq start, and if he doesn't get hot, let Sanders play. Shaq is inconsistent but if he gets hot, he is better than Sanders.

When has he every been hot? He has really only been consistently good against Creighton when he was guarded by a guy that had about a tenth of the athleticism. You aren't going to see guys like that in conference play.

Nebraska is by no means an NCAA tournament caliber team, but outside of SMU, Memphis, Louisville and UConn...they are likely better than everyone else in the conference. I like the way this team is progressing guys. It is all about playing your best in late February.
