We are a "3pt shooting team" yet we are 11th in the BE in 3pt avg. Its time to come up with a different strategy. And for gosh sakes, it should be a requirment if you are 6'11 or above, there are no layups. Slam it on someones skull! Please just once

it's like during the process someone was like, pffft we dont need anyone to play the 5. we'll just wing it the whole year.

Zero consistency this team. Play great defense and they can't score. Get up 5 and play horrendous defense to close out the half! UConn scored 13 points in the final 4+ points with relative ease.

If they can't make point blank shots against this team then they never will.

Am I the only die-hard fan who will follow his team through thick and thin, victory and defeat? I know they can't reinvent themselves in 2 weeks, but at least they should have some good tapes to review. UConn played a tough game vs Georgetown, so maybe they'll be a little worn out. I think it's highly probable we shoot better than 31% from the field. Let's hope they mix it up with drives, drives and kickouts and some 3's (not too many). Our assists are becoming virtually non-existent (5,9,10,13 {a "W"}, 8, 8). The rest were all losses.
Maybe the team should watch the tape from the Zags vs BYU game. That was textbook on how to move the ball, drive the baseline, rebound and have patience (although the Zags shot FT's like we do). And they can watch either team in that game for ideas. Same could be said for the UConn vs G'Town game. Probably 2 of the best hoops contests I've watched all season.
If nothing else, don't foul these guys and let them have free points! They're deadly from the charity stripe.

No. I just can't take analyzing the suck anymore. I'm still watching every game and obviously pulling for us. I just can't listen to or read varying opinions on the product on the court. It speaks for itself and it's bad. I pray they turn it around but this team has gotten worse over the course of the season.

Could not agree more. The play is pathetic and speaks for itself. Recruit some shooters.
