what's wrong with booing moore?

Umm he is an unpaid soph player trying to find his way. WTF would you boo your own players at home. He didn't check himself in the game. He just doing what he is asked.

It just dumb. Go the fuck home if you want to boo your own team in a game thats a must win.

Not sure "fire mick" sign makes you a bad person. He has failed miserably with this team and for me it was the year he had to prove himself.

Good win by the cats. Clark is legit. Troy is legit. Deberry is legit off the bench. Evans is a solid frosh, hope he continues to develop.

You don't bring a "fire coach" sign to a game with a sellout crowd against our biggest conference opponent. Particularly when we have chance to make a 6th straight NCAA bid. If we lost to USF, ECU and Tulane like Memphis just did and have no shot to make the tournament after missing the NIT the previous year, then fine....

BTW ask Minnesota how firing Tubby Smith worked out and he didn't even have the amount of success Mick has had but was fired after an NCAA appearance.

Cats came out firing, took an early lead. UCONN scored 4 before the under 12 timeout. Clark is continuing his good play. Troy has made a three. DeBerry has made some good offensive moves for a layup and a foul shot.

Currently it's 18-9 Cats, 7 minutes left in the first half.
Thanx Bearcat 513. Nice summary

this isn't middle school soccer. he's garbage and garbage players get booed.

Yeah it's okay to boo Moore. Not like he wants to be here anyway

You can say he is not good I'm ok with that. But don't say he doesn't want to be here, watching him in the huddle with the guys patting people on the back and getting up and cheering on the bench. He definitely wants to be here

Mick Cronin is no tubby smith

Exactly my point man. Just dumb to do that kinda stuff in a must win game

Cronin isn't going anywhere. No matter how this season plays out. That's the reality. I get the frustration. And I get having high expectations. But he is going to be the coach. I'm not going to waste my time calling for Cronin's job at any point for the next couple years. It would feel wrong to fire him during the career of a guy like Clark. Our coach said he could be our next All-American, right after he got done producing an All-Ametican. So not letting him see that through isn't realistic. I get plenty frustrated with a lot of things we do. And I'll continue to express that. But I'll do so knowing the guy who is in charge, will be in charge for the foreseeable future.

Great win yesterday!! Kids played well and left it all on the floor. The fans got to see team come out on top in a big game this year which has been absent from 5/3 this year. Most times we went home with a heartbreaking loss and a bad taste in our mouths. It was nice to come up big in a must game.

Have a week to get ready for ECU. Can not go down there and lay a egg.
A loss down there negates what we accomplished yesterday. Let's win these next two road games and beat SMU at home sending our seniors off in style.

Shaq Thomas didn't reinjure his ankle. Cronin said it was a groin. I wonder what's going to happen there. Seems like Evans is up to the task of logging heavy minutes.

Jake the debate is always, has he done enough to keep his job. 6, 20 win seasons and hopefully tournament participants for a 6th straight year. Two very good players in Clark and Evans to anchor the team for the next two years. Facilitiy upgrades on the way and the potential to move to the Big 12. We have a very stable program. Which will be important to those looking to expand. If the BOT brought someone else in now with all we have going on and the success Mick has helped engineer for someone new, in my opinion would be a foolish risk. Your right Mick isn't going anywhere and shouldn't. Very good coach and representative of our program. My hope is he can deliver more as the resources become better. I think he has earned that opportunity.

Oh and by he way we wouldn't be fans if we didn't second guess the coach and voice our displeasure when they lose.

Need Shaq's minutes at the 3 and the 4 at times. Especially defensively. I think Evans can log the starter minutes fine and even give us more scoring but if we need to sub at the 4 it looks like it will be Moore if Shaq can not go and that scares me. The other issue is as with lots of young players Evans picks up quick fouls. Not having Shaq makes us very thin in some crucial areas.
