Made the trip up from TN for the first and probably only game I'll be able to attend for the season, and I take 100% credit for the victory.

We need Shaq on press. His length is deadly. End of Tulsa game you seen the difference he makes when he's out front of press. Teams have 60% chance of inbound the ball if Shaq jumps up and down guarding ball

You can say he is not good I'm ok with that. But don't say he doesn't want to be here, watching him in the huddle with the guys patting people on the back and getting up and cheering on the bench. He definitely wants to be here
Yeah I don't buy that. I believe this is the same player that pretty much quit last year and has a dog shit attitude 90% of the time. I've seen it with players before like Robert Whaley who pretend to care just to not get kicked off and end up leaving in the off-season. I stand by what I said.

morman and guyn cheered on the bench, too.

besides, you're describing the actions of a walk on for a guy that's using up a scholarship. get his ass out of here. he's trash. connor barwin was more useful than this guy.

He's a kid that was offered a scholarship and chose to come here. Grow the f up.

Really nice win, guys showed character and heart. Clark showed why he needs a touch on most possessions. Ellis made up for a fairly lackluster showing late in the game when it was needed most. Evans was solid. Showed they could beat a good team without the shooting of Cobb.

As usual, it felt more like a 10-15 point win than the actual outcome. It's just something germaine to this team, to allow a beaten opponent to hang around and have a shot. It's bitten them a time or 3 this year, they were able to gut it out last night.

Small issues - end of first half situations. No reason for Caupain to take the shot he took with 11 seconds left in the half when you can take the last shot and go into the locker room with at least a 7 point lead. Get a better shot there and it's 9. Instead it's 5.

Kudos to DeBerry. His bulk really bothered Brimah and that move from the high post was encouraging.

I find it interesting that folks are saying that Houston would be a horrible loss. Numbers tell one story but that team is pretty good and they're even better at home. UC better not fall asleep looking to SMU or they will take an L on the bayou.

In reality, this is all about how hard and consistent the Bearcats play night in and out. When they play hard, smart and consistent I don't think there's a team in the AAC that can touch them.

I think your right about them being a team to beat but they need to get some consistent scoring on the perimeter. Two of our wings have to show up nightly.

I also like Gary with the ball in his hands. When he puts it on the floor and the help defender comes over which is usually Oct's man, Ellis needs to get to the front of the rim. He got two tips late when this happened yesterday.

Right exactly. Just admit a mistake was made, find some loophole to unload him like we did with Timmy Crowell and hopefully find some new stud.
We have a agreement with this young man. He is also part of our team. Unless you have some concrete info that he is a problem or has attitude issues we need to honor our agreement. Saying he is a problem because you have watched his body language is laughable and wrong to put out there publicly.

No no body language is very telling. I saw it last year and it turns out there was some truth to it, he ended up leaving the team for a bit. Scholarships are year to year, not forever. Might as well give him a chance to play somewhere where he'll get minutes and give us a chance to recruit someone with more impact. Win win.

If we only have 10 active scholarship players next year, I don't see how Moore can still be around. If we have 12 guys available and he's willing to keep working knowing the minutes likely won't be there, then I'm fine with him staying.

The inconsistencey of this team can drive you crazy. Just when some fans are ready to quit on the team they play like they did yesterday and show what could be. We need that all the time, but that's why fans get so mad the team I saw yesterday can make a run in the tournament. A few notes:

-the kids really notice and feed off the crowd, they showed a lot of emotion yesterday

-people have been critical of troy at times, this is his team no question he has really stepped up and taken control of this team...he needs to continue this and be the guy to get on the others when they aren't doing their job. He's playing good ball

-deberry needs more than 12 minutes he is skilled (way More offensive skill and abilities than ellis), really like his game, those minutes need to be bumped up

-Ellis should never get a post up, it's just awful, the only way he should get the ball on offense is by grabbing a rebound. His game is put backs and rebounding nothing else. Stick to what your good at

-kj plays great d wish that shot was always on but sadly it usually isn't , it's great when it is tho. But we can't bank on him

-this team goes as Gary and troy take them, with evans as there third. They are the three that we need down the stretch here if we will make noise

-Gary stay attacking! I feel he's got a lot in his game and now as his confidence is growing we are seeing more and more of what he has. Great player needs to keep it up

We need to finish strong. Ecu and houston will have empty areanas and I hate that because sometimes with no atmosphere we show no emotions. With this team I'd almost perfer a hostile road informant then dead and empty just my option. We are better than them no question show that dominate them and get home for SMU in front of another sold out rocking 5/3. This would be great momentum going into AAC tourny where our man kenyon returns. I'm not done on this team, yesterday was awsome. Go cats!

Scholarships are rewarded year by year basis. Besides they could always just let him finish education free. Aaron McGhee was cut for demarr Johnson I'll cut ties with Moore and pick up local kid like carlik Jones from aiken. If we rewarding non local end of bench guys scholarships that's a problem

Moore should've been redshirted instead of Scott. Mick needs to allow him to GO home this summer and play in as many city summer tournaments he's allowed. He needs to find the groove that made him top 10 player in Jersey

I understand that. My issue is some are not evaluating his play but speculating about his character without any direct knowledge.

I'm sure Mick and staff assess everyone's viability after each season.

Way to early to come to that conclusion. Haven't even seen Scott in a game yet.

I used the RPI Forecast tool after this win and it says that Beating SMU is far more important than losing to @houston.

These numbers assume we take care of ECU:
Win Out: RPI 32 and SOS 81
Beat Houston, lose to SMU: RPI 48 And SOS 81
Lost to Houston and Beat SMU: RPI 42 and SOS 81

So yea, Its much better if we finish on a 4 game win streak as 10 RPI spots are at risk. But also Winning against SMU is an absolute must. Like we need it. I won't ever feel comfortable with a 48 RPI on the bubble even though we will have potentially 5 RPI top 50 wins
