Quadri's issues may be mental but attitude is not part of that equation. My layman's perspective is that he wants to do 15 different things every second he's on the floor instead of doing the one thing Coach has asked him to do. That's not a bad attitude, he's just excitable and anxious. If he ever calms down and lets the game come to him, he can be an effective part of the rotation.
As I sit here and play mental fantasy college basketball I wonder if there's any merit to putting Jenifer on the floor with Caupain instead of using JJ to spell Troy for minutes. There's obviously a method to what Mick is doing and I'm not basketball smart enough to question him, just curious if he's ever considered it. I'm talking about JJ at the 1 and Troy at the 2. And before I get the inevitable armchair analysis, yes it's understood that Troy isn't a true 2. But he can shoot well enough, plus he can drive and create. Might open the floor a bit and help JJ develop, put 2 playmakers on the floor at once (or 3 if you count Clark). Won't happen, but would be interesting to hear Mick's analysis of why that isn't a good idea.
