I like Cronin, but the incessant whining about the refereeing is garbage.

I use to be the biggest cronin fan. Defended him on this and countless boards. But i feel it's time for a change for many reasons.

The program should be in better shape after ten years.

It's actually kind of surprising how average UCONN is considering how much talent they have on their roster.

Ellis was playing well defensively and you can't play DeBerry and Ellis together when UConn is playing Hamilton at the 4.

I can see that, but you can't even see if he can hang with him for a few minutes? Clark missed a few bunnies with his ankle so bad. Just think deberry might have got a few to fall while clark was clearly having issues.

It's march, you have to try things even though it's not your norm.

Hard to do. I mean remember in the Tulsa OT when he took out Clark and Ellis? I killed him for it since he couldn't call a TO to bring them back in on offense.

I hear ya, but cronin is clearly wrong, and that makes his crying about the refs more absurd.

Even if the link you shared earlier is right and Cronin is wrong, it would have been nice to know ESPN had another clock overlay and we could have at least seen it. Of course, no one knew. And it's just our luck that a guy makes a once in a lifetime kinda shot in that situation.

For the record, Cronin did do some stuff that bugged me. I don't get what happened to DeBerry (gassed?). I don't understand why we back off a guy even the game is basically won. You NEVER celebrate until the game is over. But I give props to Cronin for fighting for the team, and the clock he saw actually DOES look like it was not good. The clock overlay you posted was never something we saw on TV. Cronin probably never saw it. He also gave credit to UCONN on multiple occasions...so while I have issues with some things Cronin does, I'm gonna give the guy credit when I think he gets it right.

Clock error or not, we always get screwed. And that's the part that sucks. 70 feet bank shots, phantom traveling calls (Iowa State NCAA Tourney), Kenyon, the list goes on.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd as I'm typing this, Houston misses a hail mary and loses to Tulane. Why couldn't UCONN have missed? :(

I enjoy listening to how Adams hit a "clutch" shot. No, KJ hit a clutch shot. Jalen Adams hit a lucky shot. Period.

I would've liked to see DeBerry too.

I think they were scrambling back for a long throw in.

If you look at the replay, Hamilton reallllllllly didn't want to throw the ball into Adams. He wanted Adams to throw the ball into him for the final shot. Oh what could have been.
