Was listening to Mo Egger. He is on Team Broome and had a clip of Terry Nelson going hard for Broome. Saying he should start and play 30 minutes no matter what. They were talking about how Shamet had 6 TO the other day but he stayed in the game bc he's just one of the best players. I guess Lance McAllister wrote an article about the whole thing too.

There isn't anything UC related that isn't talking about this.

shame on them for being so late to the party! it was obvious in november

At least it doesn't look like there is anywhere for Cronin to hide on this. He's either going to have to adjust, or be prepared to take a ton of heat for choosing to follow in the footsteps of the great Marvin Lewis.

Mo Eggar doesn't notice things until they smack him in the face. I still remember that idiot and Paul Daugherty on air laughing at Bengals fans for questioning the Bengals 4, 5, 6 games into the 2016 season. Laughing about how they just went 12-4 and how they were going to bounce back and be fine. Anyone with eyes and football knowledge could seethe Bengals after the 2015 playoff loss were a completely different team and not in a good way. Mo and Paul know nothing more about sports then us. Paul may have a little more inside knowledge but the only difference between them and us is they have a bigger platform to spread their opinion.

The media in this city should take just as much blame for the ineptitude and lack of accountability for our coaches as anyone. It's literally their job to question and push our coaches yet most of them sit on their hands and kiss each others asses saying "golly gee well we just need to work harder next year!"

We had 0 back to back losses last year. This year we have 2. The only difference is [players].
Uh, the schedule was different. Kind of an important piece. Does it really matter that we didn't play Butler and Rhode Island consecutively? Or SMU and UCF?

Cronin has already stated Cane has been practicing better/harder. In the early part of the season that was enough to change a lineup according to coach. He doesn't have to start Cane because he's feeling pressure.

He has the practice excuse. Not to mention we just lost two in a row so we need to shake it up a little.

He always puts the blame on defense or being tough. Fine...but we need to improve on offense too so we can keep up.

Cronin has been preaching something to Kyle for the last 2 years. At this point getting benched for extended minutes is probably doing very little. Just coach him in the game and let him stay on the floor. If you need to take him out quick to let one of the coaches talk to him fine.

You have likely gotten him as far as he can go on whatever concepts he is struggling with.

Similar with Cane. Coach has been using the bench to get him to either do something or not do something. This late in the season 10 minutes on the bench is likely the same effect as 2 minutes. Okay...he gets it...he did something wrong. Pull him out if you want...tell him why...now put him back out there.

I don't think any light bulbs are going off this late in the season. It's time to let them play and live with some of their deficiencies. I think they will show you they can make up for it.

You also have to consider that he sits Kyle after his first foul especially with his habit of picking up touch fouls.
