I'm sick of this status quo stuff. At some point your team needs to make a run. Same reason I am fed up with the Bengals. Cincinnati fans are so used to mediocre it's ridiculous.

Cincinnati sports fans have been let down a lot.

So it’s tough for a lot of fans to get too emotionally invested and buy into the hype only to have the national media (and even worse, X fans) say I told you so.

I dunno about you but after a loss I avoid any part of the sports internet that isn’t full of Bearcat fans. It literally ruins my day.

I think everyone is just really guarded now since we’ve proved nothing

How to beat this team? Guard us way out on the perimeter. Don't let us run the set we want to run. If we do manage to get into the set... double our bigs.

As Samson said...it's easy to prepare for.

We need a legit PG in these situations to break through the front line and get to the second level and beyond. That will force a team to not guard us that far out so we can run the set we want.

No chance in my opinion that cane starts, Cronin recently saying they need to get back to defense and rebounding, and I think he prefers Justin's defense over canes. My guess is same starting lineup, sucks but that's what it's going to be.

Didn't say it mattered, just said it's what I expect to happen.

Imagine if on our Sweet 16 year team we would've had Ge'Lawn Guyn as a starter over Cash and playing equal minutes. And if we played Mbodji and Gaines as much as Gates in the biggest games...and we all just had to act like it had nothing to do with anything, even when on another 2 losing streak.

We had 0 back to back losses last year. This year we have 2. The only difference is that instead of Caupain, we have Jenifer bc Cumberland over Johnson is an upgrade. And in theory, all the other players should be better than last year too. We also have more depth.

But hey, if we can manhandle Villanova the same way we did USF, ECU, and short-handed SMU and UCF, we'll be just fine!

Was listening to Mo Egger. He is on Team Broome and had a clip of Terry Nelson going hard for Broome. Saying he should start and play 30 minutes no matter what. They were talking about how Shamet had 6 TO the other day but he stayed in the game bc he's just one of the best players. I guess Lance McAllister wrote an article about the whole thing too.

There isn't anything UC related that isn't talking about this.
