So I just listened to the Post game show with Dan Hoard and man it’s even hard for Cronin to give Cane some props.

The fact that he started Jennifer at all just proves how stubborn Mick is. If that's your plan there's literally no reason to start Jennifer at all. Makes you realize even more how much ego Mick has and his inability to admit he was wrong.

Jenifer was sick and wanted to try to play, that's at least the reason he was only in as long as he was.

Uhhh he can’t but a bucket right now. He and Cumberland are hot garbage from 3 lately.

Teams are facing guarding so he can’t catch and shoot. Him on the ball gets the ball in his hands

See and everyone is talking about this and that, I feel like Evans slump is the reason we are struggling. You throw in Cumberland being so off too, that's enough to make us lose the close games

What if the reason Evans is slumping is because of everything he is being asked to do by the coach?

So Mick had a perfect opportunity to start Broome without hurting Jennifer's confidence and wasted it...sounds about right.

I think just because of defense I didn’t hear it but he just seemed extremly down about defense so I imagine cane had a few defensive breakdowns. Not sure though

Any potential NBA player should be asked to do a lot. If that’s the case that falls on Evans and he’s not who we think he is. He needs to take over

he doesn't have that ability to go 1 on 5 though. its just not his game. he's not SK.

at least tonight when he was at pg we actually ran offense. that was fine. its when we just have him iso over and over that we get into trouble

About to watch the last 30 minutes.

I'll always take a 25 point win over Yukon.

Good to see on the box score that Moore and Scott played well.

Also nice to see Clark with a good scoring game. We need his A game from here on out.

Mick has white knuckled his way through out this entire season (minus the first 4 games). It's time for him to let go of the wheel and see what this team can do. Stick with the best starting 5 and tell them to get after it. Let them make a couple of mistakes without the fear of getting yanked.

I sometimes wonder if coaching under Huggs was a detriment to Mick. There is little doubt that Huggs was the master of breaking down his players. That said, he was also the king of building them back up. It appears Mick has learned the art of breaking them down, but hasn't quite grasped the ability to build them back up. Let go of the ego young man. Trust that the true talent will lead us to the promise land!

just flat out never going to happen. and those of us thinking maybe something would change are idiots.

I'm a firm believer that this team can compete with any elite program......but only if they play loose. Let Cane go out and do what he does best (without fear). I truly believe that Cane can have a more productive NBA career than Evans.

I'm surprised nothing was mentioned on Cane's sick play after the free throw miss in the second half. He chased the ball down in the corner and made a great pass to the open man (who proceeded to miss the bunny). Cane stripped the ball on transition and threw down a 2 handed dunk......who knew Cane could dunk! That's special....something JJis incapable of!

Cane also had a horrible missed gamble in the press allowing the ballhandler to blow by. Then Kyle compounded the mistake by being flat footed in the lane and giving up an easy layup. It was just one bad play, but I think representative of the reason why Mick doesn't play them together. We can talk about their offensive potential all we want, but I believe defense is the reason they don't play as much as many here want them to.

At least Cane is showing aggressiveness. It may not always work out. But that dude is trying to force the action.
