jenifer and broome had 9 combined rebounds in 56 minutes. Brooks and Scott had 7 combined rebounds in 67 minutes.

I happened to be at the game and it was fun urging the team on and good to know we were the stars of the game. There was no joy at the end of that win though. It is not good to be bailed out by the refs on our home court. If Jaylen Adams does not foul out and the ref does not violate the no foul in last 2 seconds rule we loose. The star of the game was their coach for being such an A hole that the refs were happy to give us the game. Since Mick said he is going to have open try outs , not, why doesn’t he just seriously shake up this miserable starting five. I am ready for mockery so here’s my suggestion - Cumberland, LoJo, Williams, Moore, Brooks. Fire away.

Few thoughts.

1. Mick called the worst TO in sports. Calling a TO in the middle of two free throws is asinine.

2. Teams shoot 3s well vs us because we double the post way to much. Assume it's to save nysier from foul trouble?

3. Micks post game was all time. Maddest he's ever been that I can recall. Enjoy practice tomorrow

Keith Williams disappears at the end of games

Everyone disappears because Cumberland is the only one allowed to touch the ball. We literally have two other capable players who can make plays but we give it to the guy who is the sole focal point of EVERY defense. This was a decent strategy when we had SK his SR year and nobody else. We need to have an offense that doesn’t consist of ultra contested shots every play.

We should have lost this game. It would have been on Cronin. I felt 90% better about the Tulsa game.

And Brooks and Scott ended with 4 assists to Jenifer and Broome 1...lol. You can’t make this shit up. I don’t know what the game plan was but whatever was working on offense we seemed to opt for something that wasn’t.

You have to play through Cumberland every play. He is all we got. He’s one of the best players in the league. If he doesn’t touch the ball every possession, that’s terrible coaching. I like Williams and Broome but they can’t create anything and honestly they can’t shoot. There are really no good options.

Broome literally just saved our ass last game with like 14 straight points. He got some easy buckets first half this game. Williams had 12 in the first half at Tulsa and probably most of his points last night in the first. Then we just quit going to them like it never happened. I think we need to run the offense through Cumberland a lot but we have guys who can score.

Those guys aren’t consistent in my opinion. They don’t really create for anyone else

No they can create Mick doesn’t give those guys the same opportunities as he gives them in the first half. The second half became a the Jarron show and everyone else stands around the perimeter. We multiple options we just doesn’t get the chance to see it because of the offense we run in the second half of games

Id give mamadou all scotts minutes

Scott just had his worst game of his career, he has been inconsistent but not bad. Against Tulsa he nearly had a double-double and played reasonably well.

Scott's problem offensively is that he wants to play facing the basket. He can hit the mid-range jumper (see vs Tulsa) but he is too willing to settle for the long-range just inside the 3-point line jumper. He also isn't consistently good enough off the dribble to not make mistakes. The only thing he is consistently good at is passing, but that only works when teams are dumb enough to guard his long jumper. He needs to learn to play with his back to the basket to be consistent, but I doubt he will.

I wouldn't give Diarra all his minutes, but I would definitely start giving Diarra minutes. Fredericks continues to be useless, four guards with Moore in works okay, but at some point Cumberland at the 4 on D is going to get exposed. Diarra brings the size we need and the shooting ability we need. Yes, he gets out of position on O and D at times, but we need him, so maybe it's time to throw him into the fire at let him learn on the go.

I believe this team has talent especially offensively. I think Mick just doesn’t know how to put these guys in position to succeed.

Who? Brooks misses 3 layups/dunks a game. Tre is an energy guy, what offense skill set does he have. Keith is a good slasher but air balls or banks 3 shots a game. Good shooters don’t do that. Broome has had 2 good games in the last month. I like these guys, and I don’t think mick is a great offensive mind, but what do we expect? We can’t shoot at all. Talent is the problem. Can we play better, of course. Especially in this league but we don’t have the players

If you watch teams with not that many options, they play through their best player the whole game. Like Sk. If you are saying we have many good options, then we will have to agree to disagree

I think Keith and Trevor Moore arent utilized properly. I would like to see Moore get some more minutes and when he is in run some off the ball plays for him to get him an open look at a 3.

Always love posts defending a college coach by saying the players suck. It’s college....he brings the players in.

I do think there is a lot of truth to Mick playing a little scared at the end of games, not allowing a real offense to be run. But in reality we hardly run one most of the game.

I understand what mick is doing, because as a fan I want Cumberland to have the ball all the time when we need a basket. But I’m a nervous fan, I’d expect more from the coach.

Interesting that Mick called out his assistant coaches in the post game, I wonder what that was all about...anyone know?
