The most exciting part about that is there are regional sites in Columbus, Louisville and Pittsburgh. Should give us plenty of opportunities to see the Cats if they make it. Plus a midwest regional final in St. Louis. Looks good to me!

Thought what you said and the Missouri rematch was interesting.

No surprise here. Jeff Goodman picks UC to be upset by Minnesota in the first round by Minnesota and Xavier to lose to UK in the final four.

lol ohhh boy. Goodman and Mack are tight but how can you possibly argue that Xavier is a final four team and UC is a 1st round team.

Ugh can we get this season started already???

I may go to the Musketeer Madness Saturday btw to see this FF team. I have class until 530 @ X and Cintas is a 3 minute walk...

If X goes to the final four I'll go to a Clifton bar and wear an X shirt. I believe they are the most overrated team in the country. They are still Holloway and the rest and Holloway can be stopped. They have Travis Taylor a transfer from Monmouth. He averaged almost 13 points a game but let's be honest, he played against the likes of Long Island, Bryant University, and Sacred heart. Doesn't scare me. They also have Andre Walker who averaged 2.4 points at Vandy last season. These are guys who writers are saying that are going to make them better.

Brad Redford is back and he can shoot but he has to be open and he isn't creating anything on his own. The frontline is thin and lacks bulk. I believe with McClean gone they'll struggle to rebound against good competition. Fease is their only big body and only guy listed over 220 lbs.

True, Redford won't create anything on his own, but with him out there it should open up more floor space for Tu and Lyons. Last year they had no legit 3 point threat, so teams could pack it in. With Redford out there, teams will have to have someone focused on him. Don't forget about Justin Martin, he is supposed to be a solid player, and it was said he was the second best shooter on the team last year, but you never know with new comers. They have a lot of potential, it's just about putting the pieces together, IMO.

Redford is more of a liability than a help imo. Defensively he cant bring anything to the table.
