No two ways to say it. Throw all the stats out the window. I knew when the ball hit the floor we were going to get it.

Yancy set the tone with that too.

This may seem comical, yet true. Darnell played TOUGHER. Motivated, and attacked. Never seen that from him.

Parker could lead this team in rebounds next year :D

Hell yeah. We kicked their ass on the boards. We couldn't shoot, but we were men.........they were boys.

46 rebounds to their 29. We had 18 offensive rebounds in the first half.

Once again, JaQuan Parker was straight ripping the ball from people.

Lance ripped the ball from Swopshire at the end too. Then he yelled. Awesome.

Put it into perspective tho. Alot of missed shots = alot more chances to rebound the ball... With that being said, we dominated the boards, and it won us the game.

It is easier to get a defensive rebound than an offensive rebound because of numbers and positioning, yet we had more offensive rebounds than they had defensive rebounds.

Obviously offensive rebounding is our only chance at winning because we miss so many shots, but there is nothing that takes away from our performance on the glass tonight.

Mick found the teams identity..it's called 'kick their ass', and get after loose balls.

This. You know it's easier for the opposing team to rebound our missed shots than it is for us to rebound them, right?

UC played with a sense of urgency not seen in some time. Rebounding, loose balls, hustling up the court.
Honestly, it looked like they were high on life.

Will it carry over or does the 3rd game in as many days take a toll?

If this team could make shots consistently they could beat anybody. They decent D and rebound. All year I have said at some point they'll have a 3-4 game stretch where their shots will fall, but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe the past 2 games will give them some confidence and they will shoot more relaxed and make a few shots.
