No it wasn't. Why do you think USF was added? They weren't a basketball power. Why didnt John Calipari get Memphis into the Big East? Of course Huggy helped raise the national profile of the university but on the list of reasons as to why UC got invited it's at the bottom. Its foolish to believe otherwise.
