The defense is good, the receivers are VERY good, it's pretty obvious who the weak link is. On the other hand, why do people continue to care about the Bengals? What have they done in the last 20 years to warrant it? That'll always be a mystery to me.

NTS we don't agree often but I got to say you are right on. Coaching didnt lose that game. Actually this staff has taken a 2nd round unathletic, average armed, inaccurate QB and made it to the playoffs 3 years running. Hell the first year they made it they didn't even have a training camp. 4 teams are setting up interviews for Gruden because of the level of success he has achieved with a very average QB. enough said. He is a clip of Deion that says it all.

Word on the street is Zimmer to be named new head coach of Vikings. Good luck Coach this is long overdue.

I just need to vent... I'm sorry I am a true Bengals fan and will always support them, but Andy Dalton is terrible. TERRIBLE. 10/33 for 86 yards and 0 TDs. 3 interceptions. The sad thing is he still makes over a million dollars a game for a performance like that. Greg Little, who was cut by Cleveland and the 0-whatever Raiders, somehow thought he was something special and was talking trash this week saying "somebody has to pay." He caught 1 pass for 8 yards in garbage time. If Oakland cuts him, what makes the front office here think he can play in this league? After Jeremy Hill's huge week we only gave him the ball 12 times. He had 55 yards on those which is a solid 4.58 yards per rush. I know we were down from the beginning, but give him the ball! Can't really fault AJ because he had a top 3 CB shadowing him all game and had Dalton throwing like he was to him. This team is just frustrating. The losses on primetime TV are stacking up and I'm not sure if we should even tune in next time they get a big game. That's all.

I would love for anyone to defend Dalton's contract. So bad....

Sad truth is elite qb's are hard to come by. Let go of Dalton and the chance to upgrade is slim. There's no free agent available that would be even as good as dalton. That leaves the draft. And that is a crapshoot. Maybe one great qb every other year and plenty of teams with high picks that need those guys. So when you have a guy you win with you keep him and hope you can bring up a guy through the draft that might be better. What you don't do is let him go and sign a guy that wasn't deemed good enough to start for many other teams sitting there without a good qb.

True, good points!

if he makes the playoffs this year it will be 4 straight. His contract also has a opt out for Bengals after 2 years. Not a bad deal when you consider all things.

Thats good to know, I didn't realize that. I know him making the playoffs is awesome but its his play in prime time games that is disappointing. He and the Bengals in general have set the bar much higher than just making the playoffs. Which is a good thing. :)

Kudos to Marvin Lewis for being on top of his game. That was such a crazy ending.

Why do the Bengals consistently disappoint in big time games. I mean they can't even get first downs. The offensive play calling is a joke.

How was Boyd not down?
I dont see how they could let that call stand. With knee down, first contact from defense kills the play. Harrison clearly didnt make contact until after the knee was down. I saw so many holding calls on the steelers not get called. Im not one to blame refs, but it seemed really one sided today.

He was clearly down. Almost a whole one Mississippi. Got screwed. Not to mention the Queerlers were holding our dline a couple hand full of times.

However, the Bengals running game looked like UC trying to run against Houston. How they didn't score on the one yard line after 3 trys is beyond me.
