One thing is for sure, Cashmere looks like he is in prime form and his shot looks great. The spacing on offense tonight has been sub-par and it seems like everyone wants to show what they can do. Kelvin Gaines will not see much of the floor this year as well, you can count on that, his ft's are horrible.

Bench looks better than last season.

Do not see a true backup to Wright. Dixon will be missed when we have to spell Cashmere. Guyn may be the best candidate. JD3 with a silly turnover, but his passing is pretty crisp otherwise. Parker does not look like a PG.

I'm not very well versed in the particulars of basketball, but I did absolutely love watching our bigs actually run the floor tonight. Didn't see much fast break action, but I'm sure that will come with time.

The team looked pretty good last night. We play great on ball D and the bigs were very active running the floor and banging down low to grab rebounds. The guards will be the key to this team, we'll go as they go. We still look clueless as a team when we get slowed down in the half court. GVS switched to a zone in the second half and our offense stalled, the half court offense is still very worrisome.

Shaq Thomas is a freshman, he's not going to be a huge part of this team. I think we might actually get more out of David N. than I originally thought possible. He runs the floor very well but his legs look like they're about to snap every time he cuts. Hopefully he can stay healthy.

The key to this team will be running and depth. If we can hit 3's and score in transition we're going to be very fun to watch but just like last season we're going to go through stretches where the other team makes us slow down. When we're forced to play a half court game it's still not going to be pretty.

This team has several guys with skinny arms and skinny legs that do not go with the rest of their body.

I was really impressed with Rubles. He is only going to get better and that would be huge for this team to have another legit scorer outside of the guards.

Mbodji has to rebound better on the defensive end but I liked his energy. He's certainly more mobile.

Kilpatrick is going to be fun to watch this season. Parker is simply tough and is the glue guy for this team. I think they had 13-14 rebounds between them.

Cash looks confident running the show and it looks like Mick has totally given him the keys to the car. I like him being the floor general and not just a point guard.

Nyarsuk is going to be a nice pick up. He is still learning the system but he will be able to do what this team needs him to do. Wouldn't shock me if he gets some starts later in the season.

Bench did look better and we need to remember Shaq and Sanders played little or not all. They will get better as they get more minutes. Back up pg could be an issue. They have to have someone in this style of play. Cash will have foul trouble at times and need rest.

Pretty much agree with everything you wrote down right there, Nyarsuk will be better, he was only playing at like 80% with a knee injury, so hopefully that won't be a lingering problem for him.

The one thing I'd have to say, is I think Guyn is a great back up PG and almost perfect to back up wright, When wright gets a rest, G is constantly pressuring the other point guard, which will tire the other PG out while Cash is resting. I admit on offense he still needs to improve on his shot selection, but I think he knows his role this year, and that is 1.Play hard pressure defense every second he's on the floor 2. Don't turn the ball over 3. Shoot if you are open
