The A-10 signed a new 8 year TV deal with ESPN, NBC Sports Network, and CBS College Sports Network. Each A-10 team will receive $350,000 per year.

The Big East basketball only schools, riding on the coattails of the new Big East football contract to be signed within the next 2 months, are expected to receive about $4,000,000 per season. The Big East all sport schools are expected to receive between $12,000,000 to $14,000,000 a season.

The point is "little brothers" hopes of getting a catholic basketball league together with the BE basketball schools is not going to happen. 350k is about right for a high school level program. Big Boy leagues get almost 4 times that and football more of course.

Incorrect Ralph. The acc is a competitor and word is they are poaching gtown and nova

Wrong again! When the ACC added ND they immediately stated no more basketball teams would be added.

The ACC also decided not to play more than 8 conference FB games.

Now you are just being silly. What does gtown and nova have to do with d1 football?

The acc is a legitimate threat to steal some bball only teams from be. Gtown and nova have both indicated they want out and want an nd type bball only invite. The acc is listening

On the football side, uconn Rutgers and ul have indicated they want out. There is still some instability in this league and you know it

Enough with the bullshit. I am sick of the "I told you so" crap after the fact. If you want to talk about this and act like you have information that you don't, put your money where your mouth is.

Who is going where, for which sports and WHEN?

If you can't answer that question, then your information is worthless as far as I am concerned.

The ACC, with all of the additions, is already too big, IMHO. Some of these teams used to being a top dog are going to find themselves wallowing in mediocrity.

Also, leaving the Big East means leaving the mecca of media of New York City. Look at Boston College, they haven't done really much of anything since leaving the Big East. I can see that happening to Pitt and Syracuse.

Typical Jason ad homonem attack. I wouldn't expect anything less from him. I have decimated him in every argument and this is how he retaliates when defeated
