Jake like you I am becoming more of a fan of Keith Williams. The three he made today was very nice but what impressed me was that he didn't hesitate at all in taking it. Big game but he definitely looks like he has been there before.

Yeah big difference in game. He will get there, he's already improved vastly in his shot selection since the beginning of the year.

I feel like with Williams, his response to the sped up D1 game, was to speed up himself. And he's athletic enough that he got away with it at times. But it seems like he's really starting to understand the flow. And his shot isn't the best, but I agree with you guys he probably makes them at practice. And I think being sped up a little at the beginning of the year messed with him a little bit shooting wise. Make no mistake though, his aggressiveness in the future is something that is going to win us a lot of games.

I remember this NBA VHS I had when I was a little kid called NBA Rising Stars. One of the features was on Shawn Kemp. I remember them talking about struggling when he got into the NBA bc he was such a good athlete, he thought he could just go 110 mph at all times. But it's when he learned the flow, and learned how to pick his spots, he really became an even more explosive player. Williams reminds me of that a bit. It's like he wanted to make the best move of all time on every play early in the year. But sometimes less is more. And I think he's learning that. He'll have his share of dunks and finishes and all that stuff in his career here. But learning to play within the team is the key for him. And I think he's on the right track.

Some times it seems he is only one willing to shoot. Got to have him in post to do most damage, but he out rebounded Gary. Ellie with 3 rebounds, basically one per minute. If Evans and when Evans comes back, future looks bright.

Sometimes I think Kyle gets too hyped up for these games and tries to do a little too much early in the game. He was putting up bad shot after bad shot and giving up EASY buckets defensively.

Im glad he finished the game strong and the Cats pulled it out. Maybe coach can use this game to teach Kyle to let the game come to him.
