Nobody really knows what happened with Myles Davis but you would think that they could really use him if Sumner's injury is year ending.
From what I saw I would be surprised if it wasn't season ending. Had to be carried off. Your right not having Davis is a big problem now.

Tough break for Xavier. Rough season for them.

Wish the best for his future.

Speaking of his future, I wonder what this does regarding his Xavier career. Does he leave and enter the NBA Draft, or try to come back and have a dominating junior year to try and get drafted higher in 2018? He just turned 21. Seems pretty risky to come back, but what do I know.

Hate to see anyone get hurt. Guy seems fragile.

ACL is unpredictable. Any cut on the court can lead to an ACL tear. This is very unfortunate. It's going to be tough for them to overcome injury and make NCAA tourney. Hope they can rally as a team.

How does the NBA react to a guy coming off of a bad injury, who is physically talented but still struggles with his shot? I mean, if he loses a little speed from this, he isn't a very attractive pro prospect.

I doubt he will be ready to wow anyone in draft workouts. My guess is he comes back to school.

Well we do want them to do good . It makes up look good higher seed in tourney (totally selfish reasons).

nope, **** that. i'll root for any team we beat except for xavier. i want them to lose every game until the end of time.

plus, their games mean less given sumner's injury. more weight goes to what we did against them with him than what they do without him.

I do enjoy every loss X suffers. The main reason I don't like X is because of their for the most part uppity, goodie two shoes, holier than now, snobby, backstabbing, spoiled rich elitist, better than you attitudes!!! There I feel better.

I feel for Sumner but I do not feel bad at all for that blue team. Were they "oh so sorry" when K-Mart broke his leg, possibly denying us a national championship? I seriously doubt it.

I wish Sumner the best and hope he can recover to continue his career to the heights he wants to achieve because he is a really good ball player, but to hell with feeling bad for that blue team.

Like you I feel for Sumner. There are a bunch of fans in the city who will root for both schools except when playing one another. It helps us to have X do well since we beat them.

1) I watching every second of Kentucky game rooting for them to lose.

2) Xavier it's just not every second.

LOL!!! you know the funny thing is that age plays a small part in this . I am in my 60's and hate Kentucky more then X by far. I think a bunch of people who are of the age range feel the same way. I love beating X but growing up we always beat X. Kentucky was the school I hated. I think my age group Always considered X our little sister. Never our equal.

Does anyone really believe that the committee will be favorable to UC just b/c X wins out or wins the BE tourney? I don't think it makes a lick of a difference, they will dock us a seed line for our conference like they have every other year in the AAC. Selfishly I am glad we beat them with Sumner. The fact they have no depth and have a Sr that was held a position and left the team is not good, they have had 5 players leave in the last 5 years I think.

UC just needs to take care of business one game at a time, none of this root for XU for seeding or root for OSU so UC gets better recruits.
