6'10 Eliel Nsoseme was a monster defensively completely neutralizing AUSAs multiple HM Australian National Team big men @Vi_Massiah @nsoseme

17s defeat Jets Ramey United 55-40 to move to 6-0! Marcus Carr & Mychael Paulo lead scorers. Eliel Nsoseme huge 12reb & 8 blocks @Vi_Massiah

What's everyone's thoughts? Do we have another check or I Thomas on our hands..they never did much for me

If he's a force defensively, and we shape our roster over the next couple years to get to the point where we can play him or Brooks as the only big man on the floor, I'd be ok with that. Seems pretty raw offensively, so I doubt he'd ever be featured in the offense. Setting screens and protecting the rim will hopefully be his role. Could open things up for others when he becomes an upperclassman. Kind of underwhelming overall though. We've been pretty heavy on "diamonds in the rough" in this class.

Northern Kings 6'9 '17 Eliel Nsoseme has officially committed to the University of Cincinnati! @nsoseme @Vi_Massiah https://t.co/w21AUu7eLu

@ChadBrendel
Cincinnati has landed a commitment from 6'8" C Eliel Nsoseme from Stackhouse Elite.

Is he 6'8" or 6'9"? I even saw a tweet saying 6'10".

This is crazy, we all try and follow recruiting every day and then this comes out of no where. I am interested to learn more about him for sure. I would like mildly offense skilled big man but from readingg the post, it doesn't sound like this is it

Eliel came over from the Congo sometime in late 2015. He is 6'9 and very long. Runs the floor, is a tremendous shot blocker and has a very high motor. Very good finisher at the rim. Played for Northern Kings out of Toronto which is affiliated with Stackhouse Elite. Also was a member of Team Canada at Adidas Nations

His regular AAU Team was the Northern Kings out of Canada. He and Marcus Carr switched to Stackhouse Elite for the final 2 weeks of July which is when UC saw him in Milwaukee. He played in Vegas the last evaluation period but was limited because of a minor injury. So there was really only one event he played in America to be seen at full strength and he flirted with a triple double in almost every game. UC was able to get in quick and keep things quiet before he blew up and they likely got a little lucky he wasn't full strength in Vegas or at Adidas Nations. I know Georgia Tech was working to get him to visit and several others were calling, but it was down to the kid liking UC on his visit and committing or letting others get involved. Obviously the visit did the trick...

Nice, thanks for the additional info. Have you seen him play lately?!

Eliel played for the Northern Kings for the entire period along with Marcus Carr. The team played under the title 'Stackhouse Elite North', made up of all kids from the Toronto area. He went up against some very highly rated players at Ny2La in Milwaukee along with the FAB48 in Vegas. Marcus Carr is a 4* PG who also has a UC offer

Right. Just noting they didn't always go by Stackhouse Elite and played mostly in Canada as Northern Kings. Probably could have explained it better but doing 5 things at once at the moment...
