Here is the proof that supports what myself, LivingLegend, and ready2go have been saying the last few days. The UCONN game was ugly.

UC against UCONN:

37.5% from the field
3-17 from 3 point range
14 turnovers

Tonight:

38.8% from the field
3-11 from 3 point range
15 turnovers

We actually played better tonight than we did against UCONN. So eat that one Ralphy and greatone. This team is a joke and UCONN just played AWFUL against us the other day. The STATS DONT LIE!

I tried to enlighten people with this, yet some chose to ignore it and claim how great the win was for UC. In all actuality UC didnt do anything to win, Uconn just did everything to lose. O well my streak of being right continues on. Maybe if i hit 1 million correct predictions (im half way there currently) people will start to take what I say as pure fact.

We played slightly better offensively. How about the other half of the game? You know, defense?

2/13: Held UConn to 35% FG shooting, won the rebound battle by 12 (41-29).

2/16: Held USF to 49% FG shooting, won the rebound battle by 5 (28-23).

Why do you assume it was UConn that played badly? Why couldn't it have been our defense playing well?

Even if it was UConn losing the game, not UC winning the game, the W is still great for UC. NCAA selection committee does not go back and look at game film from this game. They will just see that we beat a top 50 RPI team twice in league play.

Coach Calhoun is actually one of the coaches who speaks the truth. He said nothing about what UC did, he said all about how bad his team played. Honestly, I believe his opinion way more than yours. I've heard him say "we got out as*es kicked today by (insert team)" But thats not what he said. He knows his team played terrible. We are not a good team, not a tourny team. As soon as you can accept that the better you will be.

Thank you for the heart-felt advice. I think I'll just go ahead and keep rooting for my team though, if it's all the same to you.

As you should root for them, as will I, but I can not take Mick anymore. Lets get rid of him and cut our losses. He's just not getting it done.

I think we played better D against UCONN. But, go ahead and blame it on them being bad. As I recall livinglegend said this UCONN team is fun to watch, has some very good athletes and when on can be very good...

The key part "When on". They weren't on, UCONN looked like the didnt even wanna play that day. So where was the great defense at today? Our so called "press" defense allowed them to have atleast 5 dunks in a row.

I am not saying we had good defense today--but I did think our D was good against UCONN and thats on coaching.

UConn is very good, they have wins over the numbers 1 and 3 teams this season.

Uconn lost to Michigan....Michigan is very bad

That is very true. Any given day somebody can win. Thats why they are called "upsets". UCONN's wins are not even that impressive. Look at the scores. They have a lot of talent, but just havent seemed to put it together everynight.
