Very solid addition.

UC will have signed the top players out of NYC in back-to-back years, assuming JS dominates like most expect.

This class looks nice. EC would make it even more dynamic.

BA1, I think he is much better than his Rivals rankings. He can flat score the basketball and stroke the deep ball. He needs to work on his handle over the next year, especially his right hand. I love this commit and think it helps our pursuit of EC to have Thomas and Sanders in the fold. Like the NY/NJ connections Mick has built and Savino has strengthened.

I get the feeling we are building more of a "team". I love the way this class is shaping up. NY is becoming our stomping grounds. I love that he is a left hander.

“It was a great experience for me,” Sanders said. “The student section was going wild. That really put me over the top.”

That is what basketball recruit Jermaine Sanders said about his visit to the bearcats v OU football game.

Great pickup. It seems like he may be the most BE ready of the current recruits as he stated that Mick and Savino have assured him that he would come in and play immediately. If he can light it up from the 3 consistently then I can see him getting 20-25 minutes per game next year. If he would have waited to sign in the late period his list of suitors would have been hugh. Let's get Carter and a big man to commit in the early period and the staff can then concentrate on 2012. Go Cats!

Wow just the thing we have been waiting for and intimidating scorer!!!!! I think we pass on Elijah Carter and try to lock in on Myles Davis!!! If Carter was a pure point guard i would say get him but we need pure shooters and Davis and Sanders fits those molds!!!!! We have a legit shot at a top 10 recruiting class!!!

Bingo.

I think Mick & Co.'s recruiting is good right now, but it would be much better if he could actually get "ahead" in the recruiting game (i.e. have the 2010-2011 bball season to recruit for the class of 2012).

Mick has never really been ahead while at UC due to certain circumstances (some he could control, others he couldn't). I look forward to seeing the class of 2011 round out nicely, then a few early dominos for 2012.

Exclamation point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually took the time to count his exclamation points and put down the same number. I like the energy.

Man i am so excited about this year and the years to come!!! First Shaq and now Jermaine, the way the recruits were dwindling down i thought we were going to come in second on everyone. Got to give props to Mick and huge props to Savino. Getting guys who are athletic is one thing, but getting athletic guys who can shoot and play thats quality basketball players for you. I think Micks first real good recruiting class with Bishop and others were looked at as a top 25 class, but these guys were not complete ball players they were merely athletes. Now we are in with good athletes that have legitimate skills.

PG - Guyn- Slasher and a potential defensive stopper
SG- Sanders- Lefty who can shoot with BEAST ready body
SF- Thomas- Athletic freak with shooting guard skills, the sky is the limit!!!
PF-?
C-?
Whether or not we get 1 or 2 more studs i am very happy with the class GO UC BEARCATS!!!!!!

You also forgot Octavious Ellis, who is a legit 6'8 and athletic as they come. I love the class Mick is putting together.

Guyn will only get better managing a loaded South Kent team this year. He does all the little things and loves to play D.

Sanders does it all. He is probably the most ready to contribute.

Thomas and Ellis right now are athletes more than basketball players, but have TONS of potential.

And from all research I've done, all these guys seem like tough players that will do anything to win and help the team.

With a good season this year things will only get better too.

Actually, I think Mick was the point man for JS. He basically said so in an interview.
