Jermaine scored 30 points, including 11 in about 90 seconds to lead his team to a big victory.
There's no doubt that Jermaine Sanders was the best player on the court.
If you look at the other schools who were recruiting him this is a true indication of talent. This kid was recruited by almost every big east school. On a side note is it me or has Gaines gotten bigger? Love to see that.
Sanders will contribute as a freshman. He is physically ready to play Big East basketball. Defense will be the question with him.
What do you think the chances are one of the two among Guyn and Davis redshirts next year? Assuming JaQuan comes back I don't see both of them getting minutes... does Mick see who excels in pre-season practice and redshirt the one who needs time to develop?
very, very high. with only 2 2012 scholarships currently available- it would balance the classes greatly if Guyn/Davis and Ellis redshirt. Mick said this year that its hard to play 6 guys on the perimeter- and wishes he had redshirted Parker.
Next year you have Wright, Dixon, Kilpatrick, Parker, Sanders, and one of the PG's making 6. Having both would be 7 perimeter guys. I think its almost certain one redshirts.
You're forgetting Shaq Thomas who also plays on the wing. I think Guyn will not redshirt since he is the most pure PG in the class. I don't know if JD wants to redshirt. He would be the logical choice. Of course if Parker does decide to transfer, it really doesn't matter then.
its funny you say that- because i asked cronin on his weekly FSN show mailbag the difference between the two, and he said Davis is the purer of the two. said Davis is the better passer, and Guyn is better defender and faster in open court.
