Would Monty be in this situation if it wasnt for Moellers coaching staff? Probably not, show some respect and keep the school that got you where you are in form. That simple.

Monty wants to be bigger then the school that got him their, and thats fine, immature, but fine.

You are talking out of your ass. You have no proof of the garbage you just spewed. Maybe Moeller's coach wanted to make sure HIS name was mentioned on signing day?

This has made an ugly turn. No one else really matters in this decision but the kid and his family. The head coach should never gone public with those comments, NEVER! If Monty wanted facetime I am sure he would had set up a press conference, cancelled, rescheduled then announced, then retracted and re-committed. He did not do any of that, he was with his family grinding out the decision. Best of luck to Monty.

good post. rep'd

How is that statement making things up? Moeller High School got monty where he is, its incredibly immature not to keep them informed.

Moellers head coach knows the situation better then any of you all. You all have zero clue of his side or what actually happened. Im just making statements on the opposite side of everyone.

Seems to me everyone here is talking out of their ass as well.. Absolutely no proof of what happened. Maybe Moellers head coach wanted attention... or maybe, just maybe... more realistically an 18 yr old big timer wanted attention.

This entire debacle would have never happened if a player respected his coach. Not asking that much. Proving my point, hes too good for his coach and his school.

This situation never happens if the coach keeps it in house. Maybe the coach doesn't deserve respect. After this, that is the way I am leaning.

Why would Monty need Moeller? Kids from Taft just went to Oregon and OSU.

What exactly did Moeller do that any other school wouldn't have?

People at Moeller already don't like that guy...he would be fired if I was running things.

Its not about the name of the high school.

The coaching staff, the team, and his ability got him where he is today. Show some maturity. A simple text "Hey coach, this is the biggest decision of my life I need to make sure I get it right". Bam problem solved.

But nope, after several attempts he refused. Pathetic. Immature.

Go ahead and use the ridiculous excuse. Hes a kid, hes 18 blah blah blah.

That statement should be assumed. Madaris never once made a statement how is that wanting attention? Rodenburg is a grade A d*ckhead. He should have kept his mouth shut. He made it seem like he had something in it for him.
And I am not mad that he choose MSU better program and everything I can't blame him on that.

Its very funny how I can get bashed for making and assumption and thats all that you all have done. Made assumptions.

O well, I really could care less about this whole situation. Im willing to bet it wouldnt even be a topic if he chose UC.

I haven't followed this saga, but the Moeller coach is a huge tool. Plain and simple.

An individual that is trying to turn boys into men, set an example, be a leader, etc., doesn't need to throw an 18 year old kid under the bus. What a complete tool.

FWIW, I'd tell the guy what a tool he was straight to his face too. No internet strength here. Uncalled for...

I feel like he is more concerned with his reputation with the Big 10 than his own players.

Ever think of this...

Coach puts himself out there for his player. Player in return makes him look like an ass. Interviewer presses the same question over and over. Coach gets frustrated.

but no no, your right the coach is a tool... yawn. yall are amazing. judge on.

Well said,

John R used poor choice of words, but I'm telling you, he did everything in his power to get that kid where he needed him to be.

I haven't seen some try to defend an asshole this much since Howard Sterns VMA appearance as Fart Man.
