It would be great to get White in for an offical visit 2 weeks from now when the Cats play WVU. PBS will be rocking and the atmosphere will be wild. Maybe even get him to commit before he leaves town. Here's hoping, at least.

I'm guessing that the fact that he has already made an unofficial visit will eliminate UC from getting an official. Just a guess but I would think he would choose a school he hasn't been to before for the last official visit.

That may be true, but I think the schools on his final list all have had an official or unofficial visit. I think White likes the recruiting process and all the coaching staffs' fawning over him. I don't blame him as I would probably also use all of my visits and be wined and dined on someone else's dole.

That could be, I really don't know all the schools he has visited versus which ones are on his list. If he has visited them all then it's anyone's guess. I would love for him to visit UC again I'm just not sure how beneficial it would be for him. I would think that one visit would suffice unless you live somewhat close to campus, which he doesn't.

While he did visit there's still some things he didn't get to see. For example, seeing a packed house for a football game, watching the team practice, and hang with the team and experience the city. Another visit wouldn't just be a waste of time.

Of course it wouldn't be a waste of time, especially from UC's perspective. It's just that players typically don't do two visits unless they live relatively close to campus, which White does not. I think he got a good chance to hang with the team and experience the city (to a degree) during his unofficial visit. I'm sure he had a chance to play with some as well. As for the football game, that's great and all, but I doubt White cares enough about that to warrant a visit. I have no doubt that UC would love to get him on campus again.

As expected, T.J. Warren to N.C. State.

You can never rule anything out, but N.C. State now has a 5-star commitment at each of White's positions.

On the other hand, it sounds like KU is going even harder after White now that they just lost another one of their main targets.

Georgetown just offered.

This time last year he said the offer that he covets the most is Georgetown. Playing near home must be important as he is considering Richmond.

Georgetown is joined by Kansas, Louisville, Texas, NC State, Richmond, George Mason, Virginia Tech and Cincinnati in offering Andrew and being on his present list. Team Loaded's coach/director did not know the time table for a decision.

I saw this on a Georgetown forum. It sounds like their offer might be too late. I like the fact that White gives a nod to the schools that have been recruiting him for the long haul.

From Rivals:

White's most recent offer came from Georgetown, The Hoyas were a finalist for five-star small forward T.J. Warren, but when he opted for North Carolina State, Georgetown turned its attention to White.

"Coach John Thompson and his staff from Georgetown came to my game on Friday," said White. "I talked to Coach Thompson later that night on the phone and he offered me a scholarship. We couldn't talk to each other in person at the game, but we had a nice talk on the phone afterwards.

"Georgetown, you know, they're kind of late getting involved in my recruitment," he added. "I've got a lot of great schools on my list that have been recruiting me for a long time, so that's something I've got to consider. Georgetown wants me to come for a visit, which would be my last visit, but I don't know if that's going to happen."

Coach Dooley from Kansas was also in attendance for that game. White said he has eliminated any schools from his list but he definitely has high interest in the Jayhawks.

Kansas and UC seem to be the leaders according to Chad Brendel. You never know until its official with recruiting though.

I say this because BCL is free for the rest of the year.

Well Kansas is definitely the leader, however considering the credibility of BCL I'd say UC is probably in the mix but doubt the claim they are one of the leaders.

I would say UC is in the mix. The way the kid has kept this so close to his vest I don't know that anyone knows for sure, but he has said he has very high interest in Kansas and this is the only school I have actually seen a quote about to that degree. He has said UC is definitely in the mix.

im pretty sure chad never said UC and KU are the leaders. he has only said UC is in the mix. in fact, when one person suggested that UC was a leader, he said that that is not what he had heard. one paying member on the site said he was a leader, not chad.

I agree with dp on this.

Kingdog was paraphrasing but Chad most definitely said that it looked to be between UC and Kansas.

This is Chad's quote:

I talked to a source last night that said they expected it to be over by this time next week. At this point he does not have any visits set up between now and then but taking one this weekend is not out of the mix. Everything points to UC or Kansas from what I know.

Its possible Chad has read the situation wrong. But he is usually pretty conservative with the information he puts out there from my perspective.
