So he has made his decision but is going to wait until after the early signing period to announce it. Sounds to me like he is not 100% committed to whomever he decides on. He will continue to be recruited until he signs on the dotted line.

Who knows how accurate this is....

White will play shooting guard if he comes here. I believe he will pick UC or Kansas. I have stated and still believe Kansas has an edge. He seems enamoured of them and gloats over Coach Dooley. However, I thought KU only had 3 schollys to give and Landen Lucas just became their 3rd commit. Have to look into that.

Here's your answer Jeff.

KU has also announced the signing of Perry Ellis, a 6-8 forward from Wichita Heights. KU is now at the NCAA allotment of 13 scholarships for next year. The Jayhawks are awaiting word on Andrew White, 6-6 from Miller School in Chester, Va. KU is expected to have an extra scholarship available with Thomas Robinson likely to turn pro. Sophomore Justin Wesley, who arrived as a walk-on, is on scholarship this year.

The NCAA early signing period came and went and Andrew White says he remains undecided and unsigned.

“I have not signed,” he told SNY.tv by phone Thursday afternoon. “I have not decided.”

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound White said he’s still being courted by Richmond, George Mason, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, N.C. State, Texas and Kansas, among others.

“It’s still a pretty long list of schools,” added White, the Rivals No. 12 small forward out of Chester (Va.) Miller School

Still, White said he plans to decide relatively soon.

“I figured that I wouldn’t have to sign early and then I’m going to commit the first week back from Thanksgiving break and then I’ll have a good idea of what I’m going to do,” he said.

White, who has taken officials to Kansas, West Virginia, Louisville and Texas, said he may go watch some more games on campus.

“I didn’t plan on taking any visits,” he said. “I might go check out some games just since I have a lot of free time, but I haven’t discussed any visits.”

Great. Ralph just screwed over the Bearcats. If Ralph says he is a Bearcat, mark it down that he is going elsewhere.

Hahaha. Those were my exact thoughts when I read Ralph's post. Telep's tweet also says there were assistants from Georgetown and Richmond watching him. I hope Micks perseverence pays off and White commits to the Cats.

No mention of UC.

Oh well, Mick misses another key recruit.

Not saying we are going to land him, but I wouldn't take one tweek from a KU basketball site as being set in stone. I'm sure he was directly asked about KU and Georgetown, and he confirmed they are near the top. For instance, I'm sure if a UC basketball writer asked him he would directly say something about UC. Regardless we should know sooner rather than later.

Mick and the staff were present watching him just a few days ago. I have said for weeks Kansas is the team to beat but UC is in the mix.

Well if he's seen UC's offense lately, he would consider that he'd probably start from day 1 if he can actually score, cause nobody on the current team has an inkling how to score. It's pathetic.

If I'm a big man still looking to commit, I'd seriously consider UC. They have very little in the pipeline.

White can score. I think the problem with this team is the same problem they have 2 years ago. There is no player leadership. Bishop was the locker room leader last year. He was the guy that kept the team glued when it was falling apart. This team lacks that. It lacks a tough guy that will pull everyone together and say "get your head out of your ass!" people underestimate the importance of that.

White still planning a decision

While many thought Andrew White would make his announcement prior to the end of the early signing period, the top 100 prospect opted to wait.
Now the 6-foot-6 wing prospect says he is closing in on a decision. He informed Scout.com that it would be this week.

"Coming down to the final decision and planning to announce before the week is over," White said. "Don't know the exact date."

Among the schools involved with White, a four-star prospect, are Kansas, Richmond, North Carolina State, Georgetown, George Mason and Virginia Tech.

White is currently ranked No. 52 overall in the 2012 recruiting class.
