'13 NY PF Jermaine Lawrence (Commit)

To me it's Lawrence, Etou or Henry for 2013 if anyone else is signed. Believe if it happens that would be in order of likelihood.

He has Darnell Wilks-like athleticism, but he can hit jumpers/3s, back people down, and has solid handles. Game-changer

i thought i saw something not too long ago with Henry where we weren't even mentioned.

is Etou going to qualify? i was under the impression it was a long shot.
 
I wonder how much this game (UC vs St Johns) will affect his decision on where he goes between the two schools.
 
My guess would be not much but it has to be hard to get excited about one school watching them get demolished by your other school ...
 
I was chatting with another fan tonight and he told me that Maine is tight with Lance, and supposedly Lance loves Mick and is working on Maine for UC. I wasn't aware of the friendship, heck I'll take all the help we can get. Anyone else heard this?
 
This is the type of player UC really needs. UC hasn't had a size mismatch since probably DerMarr Johnson. Could you imagine him playing the 4 next year with Shaq Thomas and SK on the floor or him playing the 3 next year at 6'10"? Talk about a zone buster too. If he has any consistency out to the three point line, he could shoot over almost any guard in a zone. Would be a nice luxury to have. I hope Mick can seal the deal.

Yes, Mick needs to land this kid.

How different would the ND game gone if we had a legit shot blocker....like say, some kid that plays for a certain team that beat us at home...to protect the rim?

He;s gotta land one of his top targets right now.

i have a good feeling about this guy. I thinks he chooses cincy at the end because of our immediate playing time for his position. They need to just reassure him on the scholarship deal. Sk is not going to make money in the nba. He will be over seas. I say he gets drafted mid second round and the goes straight to d league and then over seas. Im sorry to say get rid of a player but jermaine sanders has to go. We dont have the offensive fire power to hide him on d. His ball handling is terrible and he isnt athletic enough for high d 1 ball. Give him a chance on a mid major team to be a score rather than waste it on a team where he just isnt good enough to contribute. Everyone will say he will develop. He is plateaud if he was way more athletic he might grow as a player however this is what jermaine will be his whole career.
 
It's time to land a major recruit. He'd be a major addition to the 2013 class and would most likely be an impact player from day one.

Anyone know how reliable that dude is? Don't follow the recruiting sources very much so pardon me if it's a novice question.
