Should be coming in this week (June 6) assuming the visit is still on...

@MarcusHelton
Milford Mill 2015 PG Justin Jenifer will take an official visit to Cincinnati on June 6. He lists Cincy, Providence + Texas Tech as top 3.

havent seen this kid play in person, but after watching his videos i would really like to see him in a Bearcat uniform. Again, only from the videos, this kid seems to have the ball on a string. Really hope he picks UC.

Jack, do you think we'd consider a redshirt for him and have his first year as backup in Caupain's SR year? I know it is too early, but I can't see him making a huge impact as a true frosh.

My response would be just what you said: It's too early. So much can happen between now and when that decision would have to be made. Maybe he grows 4 inches and becomes a superstar, maybe somebody gets injured, maybe somebody transfers. So I guess yeah if all things stay the same and the staff is okay with Troy, Cobb, and a combo of KJ or Morman running the point a redshirt may be something that could be discussed. Pointless to talk about it now though.

dont know if this has been posted but

i like him, think he can be a good player

I like Jenifer, but as I've said in the past his lack of speed is what concerns me (especially at his size). I would have no problem with him becoming a Bearcat but not at the expense of some of the other elite guards UC has been recruiting.

For now, I'm working under the assumption that we'll get 3 guards/wings in this class. Jenifer could be one and that'd be fine with me. As someone else pointed out to me a couple weeks ago when I was freaking out about Jenifer over Evans...we could always get both. All options are available as of now. I'm actually hoping more than anything that we use 2 of the 3 scholarships by early fall and get those guys signed before the season. I'll trust that the coaches know the right players.

The good thing is, the other guards we're recruiting are shooting guards, right? I don't know of any other elite PGs we're going after. It shouldn't hurt the likes of Beasley, Mitchell, etc.
