Is it weird I was happy about him leaving without committing?

In a word, yes.
Maybe but it signals to me that we are not ready to give up on Evans, Hudson, Sanders ect. Im glad the process is gonna play out a little longer in our search for a PG.
I can't imagine it's because UC hasn't decided if they want him here. Jenifer probably just hasn't decided himself yet. He was offered forever ago.

Considering we've only landed 6 consensus top 100 players in the last 8 years I'm not overly optimistic that we land any of the top guards on our list. I'd be more than happy with a good passing guard like Jenifer to start off the class.
Well we are now recruiting with a much better resume. 5 consecutive years in the top 25, 4 consecutive NCAA tournament appearances, 2 consecutive years in the top 10, a consensus 1st team all american and coach of the year in the conference that produced the national champion. I expect to start landing top 100 players consistently. It's what we should be targeting and its what we should be getting.

This is off topic, but this is why I don't understand voting for these things before the season is completely over. Nothing against Mick, but Ollie won the national title with his team. Kind of seems in hindsight like maybe he should've been coach of the year. I'm glad Mick got it and at the time of the vote probably deserved it considering we won a share of the regular season crown, but any coach will tell you March is what counts and how did March play out?
I disagree with your point about Ollie laying claim to conference coach of the year in hindsight. Coach of the year in a conference should reflect on how a coach performs within the conference. I think Mick earned that award . Ollie and the huskies got hot at the right time and he made some amazing adjustments in the tournament. Conference coach of the year is not about who the best coach in conference is, its about the results each coach gets while in the conference. UCONN was blown out by the Cards twice and did not win a share of the title. Awards should be given out after the conference season is over. A one game elimination tournament shouldnt decide that award.
I can agree to this. But at the end of the day are people talking about Mick or Ollie?
His video reminds me of michael Horton. Too much flashy crap that won't fly in college basketball.

This handle only has 630 followers but it looks like they follow Providence recruiting pretty closely on the website. It's the only thing on Twitter saying that though. Take it for what it's worth.
