I'm excited for Washington becoming bearcat. Just wishing him and PG that choose MU would've came here this year. I see us making sweet 16 this year and coming up short because our lack of depth.

Lack of depth? What position do you see us lacking depth in?

Every position besides PG and C. If Evans, Jennifer or Scott struggle early Mick usually benches is freshman for season unless we have emergency. Mick like play 7-8 players so he really doesn't need none of freshman to contribute. Evans onlying freshman that's kinda guaranteed to play because we LITERALLY have NOBODY with size on wing behind Shaq.

I don't think depth will be an issue (I didn't see as an issue last year and we lost no one and added three solid freshman). Depth is really most necessary for big men because of foul trouble. And with the emergence of deberry that shouldn't be a problem.

What a great signing for cats. I am really interested to see how good Washington will be with a year to develop his post skills and observe the game from the sideline.

Depth is not going to be an issue at all. We have depth at the point (Caupain, Jenifer, Cobb if needed), shooting guard (KJ, Cobb, Evans), wing (Shaq, Evans, Scott) and in the post we can play DeBerry and Ellis at the same time if Clark ever gets in foul trouble. I'm hoping Scott surprises us too. He looks in way better shape than Moore ever has. Not taking anything away from Moore because I see potential in his offensive game.

Tre Scott needs to be Gary Clark's shadow. They need to workout together, put in extra work together and push each other to get better.

Maybe staff don't tell you everything? Mick knew he committed days ago.

How do you know this? Source/Link? There is no consistency on this site, BB got banned for this two days ago, he was told no exceptions for not providing link.

Me thinks that someone wanted to break the story and was not happy that Washington told national pudnits before UC's and Rothstein broke the news. Same think happened with Lawrence, Zags was not happy b/c he didn't get credit for breaking the news and Lawrence announced on tumblr

Here's a good interview where he talks about his transfer to Cincinnati.

I liked how he especially talked Coach Cronin up. You can tell from the interview he respects Mick as a person and as basketball coach.

The past couple recruits we've landed have all mentioned winning and our proven track record for making the tourney. It's time to add some deep tourney runs to the mix of reasons. Keep up the great work Mick!

What don't you guys get about Reporting Posts? We're not going to do anything UNLESS a Post is reported. If you think someone broke a rule, Report it. I seriously don't know how many different ways we need to say this. We have posted this all over the place. This stuff will NOT be handled publicly like this. We will not be sorting through every thread looking for infractions. IF something is brought to our attention through a Report, we'll handle it. Otherwise, we'll assume no one has any issues...That's about as consistent as it gets.

Groeschen and I were told the same thing when we called to confirm the news. UC hadn't heard from Kyle yet so it couldn't be confirmed yet. I'm MUCH more interested in being right than being first. It usually means I'm not first and I have no problem with that as long as I'm reporting accurate info...

You are saying Cronin didn't know about this days ago, like Bulldog said?

Kyle called and committed late morning yesterday. Nothing is "official" until that happens. The feeling was they were in the drivers seat for a few days, but it wasn't done until yesterday...

I agree. I also love hearing lately the recent commits have said Cronin knows and is implementating individual NBA style work outs. Like with Washington, he mentioned how Cronin worked with Kenyon Martin. Cumberland said Cronin and his father have laid out a strategic plan to get him prepared for the NBA.

I love hearing how respected Mick is.

Wait, so which members need to provide a source? Lots of info on here without citing sources. Just want to be clear.

I would say use your common sense/best judgment when it comes to posts you think should provide a source for their comment. Then use the "report" function if you feel it should be reviewed by mods. If you don't use the report function...nothing will be done about it.

Pretty sure this is a shot at Chad. As far as I'm concerned, Chad is an inside source, so he can source himself. If you choose to not believe him, that's your call.

If users such as bulldog and bearcatboy can prove that they have legitimate inside sources, then sure, they can source themselves.

Of course, I'm no mod, so I'm simply suggesting things. Just sick of the info stealing and the jabs at one another.
