This guy is coming in at a total different angel then we are thinking here. The coach is offering him and DAD life after basketball, could be coaching or over seas. We read into what the boy from Ashville said he wants, just did not add up. Coach sold daddy, let's move on to a real D1 recruit !

So tired of this... I love Coach Cronin, but our recruiting is still not where it needs to be to compete for national championships. What is it going to take? One miracle Final Four run? A renovated Fifth Third Arena? A P5 invite? A new coach? I'm very bullish on next year's team, but I'm just getting a little impatient to see a real contender on the floor. NCAA Tournament appearances are nice, but I want more.

I'm pretty disappointed about not getting this guy.

Just think about this the big recruiter from DUKE for this little 5 plus basketball player now comes calling for him. Dream comes true. PLAN B . Let's get juco Cobb and a Deberry. Looking forward to a great season!!!

Robert look at the three kids coming in. I am also upset about this recruit but have a real good feeling good things are around the corner. GO CATS!!!

I understand what you are saying but it is about more than that. Sure the 3 recruits coming in look good, but they haven't even started to practice yet let alone play one minute for D1. Not filling the two schollies at this point narrows the margin for error significantly for next season. An injury/illness/transfer/suspension or combination of any/all will hinder next year's club.

IMO this isn't that big of a loss, would have been a nice piece but it's nothing to get all bent out of shape over.

So a certain someone said we would get Rowsey and that certain someone has now been wrong twice in a row in even though according to him he's never ever ever wrong. Lmao

I'll take him over all our 3 recruits. I wouldn't bet on not one single player on our team including incoming frosh to score 20 at any level D1

Looks like we're all been wrong this spring. Mick sold us dreams. I thought we we're going to get not one but two lance type signings. I'm not sold on next year team as is.

For me it is the trend of not getting two things

-pure shooter
-HS 4 year big man

UC got both targets on campus so there was interest. I guess we will find out what plan B and C are.

Next years team wasn't going to get help this season from any of these recruits anyway. The team will be fine as long as Shaq takes the next step and Evans can contribute on the wing immediately.

Mick and staff have reached of to Noah Dickerson, may get a visit from Kyle Washington and also have checked in on JuCo 6'6" PG/SG Austin Pope. Mick also is very confident he can bring in a big time class in 2016 so don't be surprised if he holds back a scholly.

Those 3 are replacing Jermaine Sanders. On the court that's a plus, from a team leadership position I look for Shaq to assume that role.

You need great weather or players in nba. Huggs got his reputation from taking players nobody else would touch either from bad grades or trouble. He developed them guys into nba players and great community role models. Mick needs to gamble with same philosophy. Hire more tutors if need be just don't whatever it takes to get best players on campus. Too many troys, guyns and Sanders on team

Ward was a surprise loss for Mick. He was certain Ward was a UC lean over Michigan State but things didn't work out. It happens in recruiting everyday multiple times. He has close relationships with a high number of big time recruits in the 2016 class. It wouldn't be a shock to see him grab 1-2 five star guys.

Good thing you can see into the future and know how every player will turn out. Jacob Evans is going to be very good. As I said, would have liked to have this kid, but it's not like we just missed on a 6'5 5* sharp shooter. This will be fine, it's going to be a good year next year.
