Was checking out his twitter looks like he has a lot of major offers or at least has taken a bunch of big time visits. Georgia, Xavier, Ole Miss, Tulane, Georgia Tech, Duke, Clemson, Pitt, ASU, Toledo, Iowa State, Vanderbilt ect...Definitely love his game. Great jumpshooter from 3 and the mid range. Looks to have a quick release and good balance off the dribble and off screens. Average ball handler but can finish at the rim even with contact and good athleticism. Would love to see this kid and Trevor Moore out on the wings together.
Had an unofficial visit here yesterday and that other crappy school in Cincinnati today. He posted pics and tweeted about the visit today nothing about us yesterday.
It might have to do his family connection to the other school. His uncle played basketball and baseball there.

If a kid doesn't want to play here I'm the same way screw it we don't need him. But to see him post about literally every other teams visit and post pics and nothing on ours shows me we are doing something wrong in this recruiting thing.
I think someone said his uncle played there or something. And I know hes not a typical Cronin recruit bc he is white and is a good scorer but he is someone we should be going after hard the kid plays at a high level. Just because he is skinny shouldn't be an excuse. Scott, justin jackson, shaq, ect all skinny guys. You see what our strength trainer is doing with these kids. And i'm sorry I find it hard to believe just bc we think it might be a long shot to get the kid we didn't recruit him hard while we had him on our campus. There are alot of kids out there we don't have a shot at but never get them on campus. This kid was on our campus and tweeted other schools like Georgia Tech and Clemson. We did something that didn't wow the kid. There is an issue with our presentation i'm telling you.Don't think we are recruiting him all that hard. Think the staff knows it's not likely here. He has xavier family believe grandfather played there or something like that so it's a given they are in the mix and he was going to visit, so this reminds me of brooks visiting xavier kind of a why not visit since he's right down the road in stead of legitimate mutual interest. I do like his game looks like a good scorer but a 6'5" skinny weaker white kid who wears a baggy t shirt under the jersey isn't a typical cronin recruit haha. But as far as visits go most do post about it. Just see this as more of a why not visit rather than a likely option.
It's not that he is skinny or white it's more that I do think he is all that interested in coming here and we knew that. He's a Xavier bloodline visit was maybe just because it's available. Our presentation is fine, stanburrys dad posted like it was the greatest thing ever. We have a beautiful campus we have plans to have amazing new areana sometimes it just doesn't mesh maybe he didn't fit with the players which is huge for these guys is how they fit with their future teammates and the coaches as well. For Trevor Moore he instantly connected with the guys and felt he could fit in the brotherhood. Honestly this kid reminds me of jp Macura a little bit ya seems like a good scorer but also gives me that stuck up arrogant vibes. I was just joking about that....and we did offer him tooHim being a long skinny baggy shirt under the jersey white boy isn't keeping teams like Syracuse, Duke, Butler, Xavier, Pitt, Iowa State, ect (Teams that make deeper tourney runs than us all the time) from going after him hard and offering him.
Just baffles me that he mentioned absolutely nothing of the visit at all not one thing not even a retweet. But has tweets and pics from literally every other place even terrible Tulane, Georgia, Ole Miss, FGCU, Kansas State, William and Mary, ect. It is driving me crazy if you cant tell. To me there has to be something wrong with what we are selling to these kids bc like you said we have a beautiful campus and going to have top of the line facilities. Yeah Idk I still think we are dropping the ball somewhere. Whether its the people these kids are meeting with not being very personable and making the visit fun. I know when my brother visited campus to play baseball some 400lb sloppy guy who was sweating all over and could barely walk around took him around campus. He said it was an awful experience. Maybe the way we are presenting things to the kids is an issue. I have noticed some of the flyers they give the kids like the ones Sansburrys dad posted. To me they were extremely corny. Keep it well polished and professional. Stay away from the corny phrases and putting their pictures on them ect. Make it clean cut and about the new arena and jersey combos with maybe them photo shopped with the jersey combos on if you do anything with them in it. How about spending $1 to laminate the stuff and put it in a nice folder so it doesnt have creases and look like crap and cheap by the end of the visit. Have a cool clean polished area that our jersey combos and shoe combos are well presented (alot of recruits post pics of this area on their visits to other places). Have the kids take pics out in front of the Big O statue and explain just how big he is to the history of the game of basketball. Show off the football stadium (its an awesome facility) then show them the render videos of what the basketball arena is going to look like. Show them how close downtown is and how close Bengals and Reds games are and all that is going on down there.If it was every person who visits leaves and posts nothing for us but does for all other schools I'd also be concerned. But I wouldn't over think this sometimes it's just not a fit and we move on

Idk we should be competing for top notch players and we just aren't getting it done. People should be blown away when they come here even if they werent very interested in coming here at all.
