I like this kid. He looks athletic and like he can score in multiple ways.

I'd be excited if we could get a commitment from him.

Really like what Mick is putting together.

After next year we'll have Brooks, Scott and Nsoseme behind Clark, Moore and Washington who will be seniors. The 4 & 5 spot will be a wide open competition which will help in our pursuit of some top tier talent. There will be no hold over starters or upper classmen standing in the way of any incoming freshmen. They will also have some very nice guards to pair with.

At PG we will have a improving JJ and Broome to compete at PG. Both will be seniors at the same time meaning immediate playing time will be available after they graduate.

On the wings we will have Cumberland Moore, hopefully Williams and Evans. Two very nice players in Evans and Cumberland and two guys with nice upside.

It appears to me that we are nearing what most people expect from a recruiting stand point. Good starters backed up by solid players who may develop into great players. Landing that one franchise player should be made easier with the available playing time and a very nice supporting cast.

Mick has the team positioned for a really nice run over the next two years and is building behind that group.

Of course we need to land Williams first.

Agreed. Setting up to get a huge pg for the 2018 class to sell the thought of him being a 3 year starter.

Big men we have now give no guaranty starter in the future can all be decent backups if one doesn't become a key starter. My guess is Brooks by JR year will be pretty good. Nosome and Scott hopefully will be great bench guys for big men and then Brooks and a stud PF for the future could start.

I still hope we get another big man for 2017 or a 6-7 6-8 SF.

As far as Williams goes what a beautiful weekend for him to enjoy some time in Cincy. I see he follows Trevor Moore now on Twitter. I really think we lock him in then our PG and SG combos are set for the next two years.

I bolded the most crucial parts. We definitely need to go after another big man for this class, as our frontcourt looks a little "eh" after 2017-18, and landing Williams would cement our backcourt for many years to come. Both huge.

You nailed it, my thoughts as well. Couldn't ask for a better day weather wise to visit too.

Really don't think you'll see a big added until next years class when Moore, Clark and Washington will be seniors. The same time I think you'll see a PG unless the staff can lock some one up early that will sit behind JJ and Broome. Anything is possible I guess.

I think they will try but it will be difficult with Washington and Clark still on the team.

Not impossible but I like our chances next year better.

I suppose. The reason I'm moderately skeptical is that if we were to land Williams, that'd only leave us with one scholly for next year, assuming nobody transfers. We never use all our schollys.

I think Brooks is going to end up being a very solid big man over his 4 years. Should be more than ready to step in when Kyle and Gary move on...

Very reassuring. Does he run the floor well? I'd love to see him be able to give us 25-30 minutes/game somewhere down the line.

He's right with Kyle and Tre getting up and down the floor. I have been quite surprised with the athleticism he has shown so far. Moving a lot better than he did back when I scouted him in AAU...
