I get it Jacob. The funny thing about this is we sure could use a guy like Thomas or Bishop for next year given our depth issues at the wing. I think we can all agree we would rather guys like them come off the bench rather than be our best options at their positions.

They was highly ranked but being fair they played in big east. Sanders, bishop and McClain would've made all league teams in aac. They would've played bully ball.

The only ones sick of it are the ones who like Cronin. Everyone else is sick of the positive comments that Cronin gets on this site.....and we hear all those comments within almost every thread as well. If Mick improves his performance, then you won't hear these comments that you are sick of. It's pretty simple. 10 freaking years is a long time, which means over time, the bitterness will creep into more and more threads. And, his recruiting is ground zero, numero uno of all his issues, so there is no more deserving place for this topic to come up repeatedly.

What does this comment have to do about recruiting? When you post, this is what we typically get. At least my comments are all program related. There is non-stop bashing of Tuberville on the football side, something that I don't believe I have ever participated in to this point. Is it somehow ok to bash Tubs relentlessly, but after 10 years give Mick a pass?

You've never really given the site a chance to work for you. I don't recall you ever reporting any posts. You know that's how it works here. Publicly calling things out won't get you anywhere. That isn't new. And I know it isn't perfect, but you can use your Ignore Feature to avoid reading posters you don't see eye to eye with. We check every report, and there is a discussion between all mods, who have a wide range of views on everything. We simply stack it up with the rules, and go from there. That's how it works. If you choose not to take any of the routes offered to you to maximize your experience, there's nothing we can do. But simply jumping in and silencing/banning members who speak out against the coach isn't how we run the site. We assume that if no one reports anything, then we have no issues. It's up to you to fill us in if something is going on that you think goes against the rules of the site.

Keep those comments in other threads where it's appropriate. I feel like these recruit threads should be only about updates about the player's team, stats, videos, twitter posts etc. If you want to bash the coach and the program, do so where it's appropriate. Create a new thread. Whatever. I would just like to keep the recruit threads strictly about the recruits.

I agree with this to a certain extent. We have a thread for the upcoming season (and even a general recruiting thread) where we can evaluate Cronin's coaching and recruiting abilities. Let's try to keep the coaching criticisms on those pages rather than individual recruiting pages.

If we have recruits who want to see what fans are saying and come in here...we don't need all this other garbage.

I for one would love to have this kid on our roster!! I think a lot of our fans would too. Let's not contribute to making it not happen...even if it's in a very small way.

Your right I did the same thing as you, put a comment in the wrong thread. But since I do not post everyday and aren't on continuously like some I will explain myself again since you ignored what I said. I have no problem with you complaining about the coach or your right to so. I just do not understand why every thread has to have the same discussions especially in a recruiting thread that is about a certain recruit.

I love that you have put me in the category of " this is what we typically get" when I post. I will be the first to admit that I am not an insider on recruiting or what goes on inside the program. Much of the info I get comes from sites like this and whether you believe it or not I enjoy different points of view. Jacob, sorry about putting this in the wrong area

That doesn't make sense to me. When Mick is brought up in every single thread, you're bound to veer off-topic. It's what starts the dominoes. Are we all just supposed to ignore those comments? I try my best to, but that will not always happen.

Now in an attempt to get this back on topic....

I'd love to land McNeill for his versatility. I think we could really use a combo guard. As of right now, Broome and JJ are all that can play the point 2017 and beyond. We will need another, but I don't want someone that's so limited to only being a point guard. He would give us so many lineup combinations.

The response is what makes it veer off topic. You have stated your disagreement many times. It should be apparent now that your not going to change the people who have issue with the direction of our program. To continue to respond only fans the flames.

As for McNeil it will be a tough sell. We have JJ and Broome at PG and Moore, Evans and Cumberland at the 2 and 3. If another school has immediate playing time to offer it will be tough for him to come here.
