Not sure how reliable, but UD fan sites were hoping they could get Curtis to go there. Curtis's coach has said he loves UC and won't be changing his mind

My ultimate worry when it comes to Curtis is did he create that strong of a bond with Cronin and pair that with the fact there is immediate playing time available at UCLA at the guard spot. The roster is actually stacked right now at UCLA minus one weakness, depth at guard.

He's not dumb, he knows they mostly aren't good enough for UCLA. UCLA's issues aren't lack of talent. Curtis is the guy we are all holding our breath for and he is a ~150 recruit. Granted, I think he could be great here, but they are a dime a dozen in LA.

Curtis retweeted another high school players tweet. That player essentially is going prep and going to reclassify as a 2020 recruit. Might be something, might be nothing but Curtis put a thinking emoji along with the retweet.
