Keep saying there are a lot of things in flux because there are. The staff is either waiting of players releases to be complete, new names enter the pool of possibility regularly or there is indecision on the part of players on what they're going to do. Crazy time in recruiting.

Bottom line is we have minutes to offer a recruit and I think that is as important as any issue when your trying to convince a kid to come here. We also have players recently that have gotten national attention. Kids want to know that they will have a good shot at competiting for minutes and you can get them to the next level.

Any Born Ready type recruits still out there? We need a speedy PG and a shot blocker. That C from UConn was difference maker in my opinion why they won. I'm not sold on Mormon right now at all. And if he is real deal Mick needs to seriously not have power to redshirt players.

Mick said he isnt looking for big guys. And how do people still not know the Morman situation? He broke his foot. It was a medical redshirt. Sheesh.

Daniels was obviously the difference maker for UConn in the tourney, not Brimah, not sure if he even scored the final game.

So you were sold on JD3 but not mormon?

Justin Jenifer next year is speedy PG on radar for next year

247 updated the JUCO rankings for 2014... Graham is up one spot to 3rd and DeBerry down one spot to 13th

You're not sold on someone who you have never seen play one minute of college basketball. That makes sense. He also didnt redshirt Morman. He told him he would like him to but it was up to Morman to decide. Once he broke his foot the decision was made for him. Stop spouting bullshit.

So in order to get Redshirted, you are saying you cant be good or become a great college basketball player? Tell that to SK. Im confused at what your point is, if you have one

Ahh. My thoughts exactly. Thank you Agent Bauer.

For next year, Cincinnati needs an experienced scoring guard (5th year or JUCO) and not much else.

By my count, UC is graduating Sanders and Guyn next year and still has 2 open scholarships (I assume at least one will be filled in '14). In the class of '15, UC will probably go after a true point guard, a wing player and a big man. One of those three could be met as a transfer who sits out this season.

Jon Rothstein ‏@JonRothstein 46s
Michigan's Jon Horford is transferring and will be eligible immediately, per the school. Solid post player. Will help someone in 14-15.

Daniel House and Tashawn Thomas of Houston both are transferring. Thomas was an all league player averaging 15 and 8. House was a top recruit out of HS. Big blow to UH.

If he was real deal though Mick would've played him, especially since Davis transferred.

Sk shouldn't have been redshirted is my POINT. If Mormon comes anywhere near level of SK, Mick should be in trouble. Our best team to ME talent was Lance year, and just think if SK was also on that team. Lance could've had very special run in NCAA he was just beginning to hit his stride.

If I can get me a shot blocker that a be PERFECT. The perfect spring would be to get either Graham and Opecka.

At the Banquet Tuesday Mick said that he knew SK wanted to play and wouldn't sit on the bench and he didn't want him to transfer but he wasn't going to get minutes behind Lance and Deonta. We also had Larry Davis and Dion Dixon. Said he told him straight up he wouldn't play much

Mormon broke his ankle and redshirted in November, Davis transferred on Dec. 12.

Your point is wrong (as usual). Never would have played and would have wasted a year. Instead is now a first team all american who has raised his draft status. It worked to perfection for both SK and the UC program. Im trying to not pick on you but you continue to spout absolute nonsense on multiple threads.

Uh, no. A freshman who gets injured early in the year often struggles. Shoot, look at Lawrence. He was finally starting to gain confidence, has the injury and really never blossomed this season. Mick would rather not waste a year of eligibility on a player whom he values long term for the program.

I don't get this. I keep reading it on this board so I finally have to say something. What is this based on? Lawrence wasn't doing anything prior to the injury, and didn't do anything post injury. Obviously having a month off hurts for anybody, but how exactly was Lawrence starting to gain confidence? What are you basing that on?
