West Va transfer Eron Harris told ESPN has heard from Mich, Marquette, Butler, Auburn, Mich. St., Ohio St, MD, UCLA, Illini. IU, Purdue, UNM

I'm sure Mick will make a phone call, but it's hard for me to imagine he puts a ton of effort into this one.

Doesn't seem like Cincinnati is in the mix with Eron Harris...

“Yeah I am definitely looking at location,” said Eron Harris. “It isn’t like anybody who is outside this radius can’t call me or anything, it isn’t that, but I would prefer to be closer to home so my family can come see me a little easier, and I have a little brother that I want to be able to see a little bit more and be a positive influence over.”

Throughout the day more coaches will be reaching out to Harris, his family, and AAU Coach Mike Fox who the elder Harris said is helping the family through this process.

Ronnie Johnson committed to Houston today. Kelvin is loading up on sketchy guys (although we don't really know what happened with Torian Graham).

I know this may not be a popular opinion but I'm fine going into next season with what we have now. Don't get me wrong I would like to add another sharp shooting wing but if we can't find the right guy I say pocket the schooly. Could be that is why Mick hasn't pulled the trigger yet. It would be nice to get a wing and a future PG but if we don't will use them next year. I would hate to settle and miss out on someone really good. Now if we can get a immediately eligible one year transfer that could help That would work as well. Really think all the moving parts this off season has made recruiting extremely difficult. It is also very frustrating for a very anxious fan base.

Lots of potential on this team. We may be a player or two away from really being a major contender. Mick has some big decisions to make.

Cincinnati will not go into next season with 11 scholarships voluntarily for, at the very least, depth purposes.

we might not be lock to make tournament with this team. I do believe between Sanders or Guyn one them will have breakout seasons. Still think to safe than sorry we need at least one more day one impact player. Never can have enough quality guards on team.

I think I'm done with this board. Guyn goes from #258 PG or whatever, to potential break out player.

Sources indicating Cincinnati has received a commitment from JUCO forward Octavius Ellis. @Tay_UC2 #Bearcats

WHAT????

Not sure how I feel about it. Front line will have some serious depth.

Was at the basketball banquet 1 month ago and the player I sat with mentioned that there was talk that Ellis may be back. The players all like him and he has the length to contribute immediately. Glad to have him back.

Trinity Valley Community College sophomore Octavius Ellis has been named first team All-America by the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Ellis, a 6-10 forward from Memphis, Tenn., averaged 14.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.2 blocked shots for the Cardinals this past season to help them to their first NJCAA tournament appearance since 1999. The Cardinals also recorded 29 win, the third most in school history. The Cardinals went 29-7 and were 2-1 at the national tournament.
