Kevin Johnson has made 3 passes in the last 2 games where I had to do a double take. Accurate post feeds with zip when our big guys had position.
quite possibly this is what Mick sees in practice from him daily. hopefully he can go from the practice court to the games a bit more often. Last few games he is starting to like the player some thought he could be.

Agreed, I looked at the same thing. Saturday night games were once the norm. Now, if we do get a Saturday game, it's usually at noon or another goofy time. These crazy game times do not help attendance at all. Saturday evenings are the optimum time for good crowds. We rarely see those anymore.

i think there are plenty of fans on the other side of the fence as far as daytime games vs. nighttime games. some folks would much rather have the game be in the afternoon rather than have an iceberg in the middle of their saturday night schedules that impacts other plans.

that's why i think the optimal schedule has a mix of early afternoon saturday games and nighttime saturday games (late afternoon games are never good).

having all of the sunday games this year is brutal. it's especially bad during football season, although they did get lucky to avoid bengals timing conflicts earlier in the year.

I've been a season ticket holder for many years. Personally, it doesn't matter to me when games are. I go no matter when they are. But, I always enjoyed the Saturday evening games the most because typically the crowds were better and louder. The students are the ones who don't always show up as well to those afternoon games. In my opinion, if you want a sellout, schedule it on Saturday evening.

you definitely get more students later in the day but it's never a huge swing so i think a mix is fine. sunday, though, sucks no matter what. the single largest factor in determining attendance for the large majority of programs is going to be the opponent - that will never change.

I like to get drunk for the games, pregame before, during, and after. This year has prohibited me from doing that to an extreme. I cant do that during the week. I guess my liver is thankful.

Gary Clark is the best player we have. Imo it isn't even close. He and Cobb are the only bright spots in the last 12 games.

PER in Conference Play

Clark 25.9
Ellis 24.3
Cobb 20.6
Jenifer 20.3
DeBerry 19.3
Evans 11.3
Caupain 9.9
Johnson 8.3
Thomas 5.3
Moore 2.5

Team FG% out of conference: 45.9%

Team FG% in conference: 39.4%

It almost seems like having the 351st pace out of 351 teams makes our offense worse. I'm sure that's just me imagining things though. In Mick we trust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ellis and Clark have shot 40 FT combined in conference play. The rest of the team has attempted 41. Cobb has shot 0.

Caupain and Thomas are 1st and 4th on the team in minutes in conference play. They are shooting a combined 30.1% from the floor, and 27.7% from 3.

The Sweet 16 team had 3 players averaging 12+ ppg. In the 4 years since, SK and Cashmere Wright are the only players to average 12 ppg in a season.

Mick has been here 10 years. He has only had 2 players ever average more than 15 point per game. Deonta Vaugh did it twice (15.3 in 2007 and 17.4 in 2008) and Sean Kilpatrick (17.4 in 2012 and 20.6 in 2013).

Only 3 freaking teams below us is this God-awful league, Tulane, ECU, and USF. How pathetic is that?
