After watching the Bengals embarrass themselves and the city once again I officially have zero expectations for any Cincy sports. I full believe that any high level sport program with the name "Cincinnati" on their chest is destined to remain in purgatory. Primarily any team named UC, Reds, or Bengals. There is no hope for real success and we all will have to accept it.

An Ellis blow up today would top it off. Fml

I wish our backcourt would get cut down to 3 players. Starting, and playing half the game together would be Caupain and Cobb. Then throughout most of the rest of the game you'd primarily see Jenifer/Caupain and Jenifer/Cobb. Cobb is only playing 24 minutes per game. That's not nearly enough. If Caupain is playing 30, why can't Cobb? And if Caupain is going to be "the guy" he'd benefit greatly from Jenifer's ball handling and passing.

I thought Jenifer was okay Sunday, despite just 1 assist. He could've easily had 3, but Clark and DeBerry missed easy 5 footers (what's up with DrBerry's FG% this year?). We know he's not going to rebound, so no surprise there. And no one wants him to shoot, so not that concerned with his point total in 9 minutes if he is feeding the post and not turning it over. He is still averaging 7.1 assists/40 minutes. Best on the team.

Lol smh. Caupain, Johnson, and Thomas do it too. 100% coaching.

And I've said it's bad all year, not just isolating Jenifer here. Cobb is the biggest culprit. There is just no need to take that shot, especially ones like Jenifer cause he wasn't even pump faking a guy that was running him off his shot.

They are just low percentage bad shots.

Not really sure where to post this but I found it interesting.

I heard on the Xavier broadcast that Farr runs the slowest mile on the team at 5:40. That's moving. And apparently Mecura is the best conditioned player on the team. I wonder what kind of mile times we'd see from out guys. I literally have no clue, just found that interesting.

Under 6 minute mile isn't that tough. If our guys couldn't do it (assuming it's something they'd want) I'd be completely shocked.

You think our big guys could run 5:40? I really don't know about that.

Outside of DeBerry, I think if they wanted to run one in under 6 minutes and you gave them a bit of time to train for that (I don't really know what sort of conditioning they do now) they could do it.

My only point was a 6 minute mile isn't that difficult. I would think college athletes could do it if that was their goal.

Kevin Johnson has made 3 passes in the last 2 games where I had to do a double take. Accurate post feeds with zip when our big guys had position.

Just noticed something about our schedule this year. We have 2 home Saturday games. From a fans perspective, that sucks bad. We get shafted to all weekday or Sunday games.

The Temple game made me realize we have no good weekend games in general except Senior day against SMU.

What gives?!

Agreed, I looked at the same thing. Saturday night games were once the norm. Now, if we do get a Saturday game, it's usually at noon or another goofy time. These crazy game times do not help attendance at all. Saturday evenings are the optimum time for good crowds. We rarely see those anymore.

He had a great bounce pass last night from the top just in front of the 3 point line down to Clark or DeBerry (I can't remember which). I had the same reaction, double take, might have been the best pass I've seen KJ make.
