Conference football sceadule for next season was released. Here's the run down:
Cincinnati 2015:
-Home: Temple, UCF, UConn, Tulsa
-Away: USF, ECU, Houston, Memphis

And the ooc to this point is:
-Home: Alabama A&M (i know were or still are looking for a better opponent to open against), Miami Fl.
-Away: Miami OH, BYU
*last season we had five ooc games so maybe there will be another announced im not sure.
**With the addition of navy the aac will split into two six team divisions, with a championship game being played the home site of one of the divisions home stadium.
West Division:
Houston
Memphis
Navy
Smu
Tulane
Tulsa

East Division:
Cinci
ECU
UCF
Uconn
Temple
USF

A conference championship game at nippert would be crazy. For those who have been unable to see any of the progress its looking awsome, IMO its going to be the coolest stadium in college football, and one of the hardest places to play

Rob you are spot on about it being one of the most unique stadiums. I went by after the basketball game last night and it looks so badass. It looks massive. It makes the other side look tiny. Could you imagine if we were allowed to remove the choir building and continue that around?!! That would be really intimidating for opposing teams.

I think 40,000 is enough for the time being. Let's see if we can fill it to capacity. Outside of being invited to big ten (which won't happen) I just don't see us ever needing a bigger stadium.

I completely agree. I guess I was just speaking hypothetically.

Does anyone know if the nippert renovation includes enhancing the concourses and restrooms?

Yes, the east concourse is supposed to be a lot larger with a lot more restrooms and obviously the west concourse will be different.

I do agree the stadium looks massive. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Doesn't matter, due to the lopsidedness you mentioned I think the stadium will tip like the sinking titanic into TUC. But what a 30 minutes it will be once it is standing finished!

Talking about titanic the cats just sign their second og/ot over 300 pounds.6'5 and 6'7.

Alabama A&M
Temple
at Miami (OH)
at Memphis
Miami (FL)
OPEN
at BYU
UConn
UCF
at Houston
Tulane
at USF
at ECU
AAC Championship
Bowl Game

^13 maybe 14 games next year. No reason why we shouldn't expect a 10 win season with all the offensive talent coming back. But hopefully we can avoid the 20+ point beatdowns when we do lose. I think a 6-2 conference record is likely. So if that happens we might have to win the bowl game to get to 10.

We went 7-1 in conference last year... I don't think Memphis, East Carolina, or UCF will be much better than they were last year, although I don't necessarily expect those teams to fall off much either. Anything less than 7-1 is a disappointment IMO. I think 11-2 with an AAC championship and a trip to the access bowl should be the bar. I know that's setting expectations rather high, but I don't think that's too unreasonable considering the talent we are returning.

My expectation is to win this conference every year. Unless UCF and maybe ECU continues to get better and wins it here or there anything else in this conference would be underachieving based on how our program stacks up with the rest of the conference. This is just a horrible, horrible football conference.

Who do you have them as the one loss.

Tough stretch with 3 of 4 on the road. And UCF is right before that. I hope they can get through that with 1 loss and no other conference losses, but idk. Will be tough. At Memphis will be tough too.

I'm not necessarily predicting they will lose one conference game. I just think anything more than that will be a bit disappointing.

We should be able to roll out of bed and beat Alabama A&M, Miami (OH), Tulane, UConn, and USF. The other 7 games are all winnable, but I wouldn't be shocked if we lost any of them. But when I look at the best teams in the conference from last season (us, UCF, Memphis, ECU), I feel like we have the most talent returning.

That said... I didn't realize this until I looked it up, but Temple returns 19/22 starters, which is the 2nd most in FBS. Plus you have Houston with Tom Herman coming in... there will be a lot of dangerous teams on our schedule next season.
