Does anybody on here truly believe Mick turns down any home and home opportunities with quality opponents?
Marshall also talked about getting a couple SEC schools to play also. If Wichita does gets a couple more of those type games, it starts making the "it's hard to schedule games" narrative hard to believe

No, but all you hear is how hard it is to get games, and then a team exactly like UC has one of the better OOC schedules there is and looking to build on it. I like mick, but it isn't a good look. Who knows, he could still get some good games. Let's hope
Why is everyone ignoring the fact that UC had games against XU, ISU and Butler this year and was supposed to have a game against Michigan. The issue Cronin has is trying to land a marquee team and not a mid-tier P5 school. UC would like to have more games against solid to good opponents and at least one against a marquee program. That is the issue.
I clearly said they have gotten a couple decent games every year. Mick said its getting harder and harder because we won 30 games and are returning everyone and no one wants to schedule that. I pointed out Wichita is in the exact same position and seem to be getting games or atleast a couple with more on the way
My point is that their OOC schedule has been on par with ours recently. Yes, Maui would be nice but that isn't happening because we stepped in for UL and didn't have time to put together packages and therefore didn't have enough fans show up. Not much you can do about that.
I really want to play NKU.
And I don't mind playing it next year as long as we are the "Home" team and we control ticket sales.
IF NKU controls it, tickets will be super cheap and they will have a huge home court advantage but if we are the home team and we fill out 6k in season ticket holders plus control ticket sales, then we still own the advantage.
They will be a top 125 Kenpom team and maybe even better than that.
They are starting to become a pretty high level buy game. We still can crush them but it also helps RPI.

If you're NKU why would you agree to be the road team in your own arena?
Agree, I hope we can work something out to play every year. It's right in our backyard, we could beat them most of the time, and it's a decent win most of the timeI'm sure many will disagree, but I just think it is asinine that Cincinnati and Dayton don't play more often. For the home team, it is a guaranteed sell-out. For the road team, it is an easy (read, inexpensive) road trip in a tough road environment. For both teams, it is a likely strong RPI opponent and a match-up that generates buzz and excitement in the Tri-State and Miami Valley areas.
