Doesn't Calipari have beef with Cronin? Doesn't seem likely to happen. That said, I would be okay with a neutral game in Cincinnati and one at Rupp. They only get one game at Rupp though unless we are getting a true home game out of it.

If Cincinnati had an NBA-level arena downtown, I think this would be more likely to happen. UK would sell a ton of tickets in Cincinnati, unfortunately.

Not great but I'll take it.

Xavier has had a lot of luck scheduling SEC schools in the past (even before the Big East). I think it is something we should pursue more. I feel like we have a better chance of scheduling SEC teams than Big Ten or ACC, for instance.

I don't mind it. I wouldn't mind 2-3 of these mid-lower p5 games. That and 2 bigger games and a tourney. Think we'd be good to go

I'll take this. It's better than playing any of our other OCC teams last year besides the big time games. This blows Samford Limbscome type games out of the water.

1. @Xavier
2. @UCLA
3. Neutral Iowa (I'd imagine)
4. Neutral Wyoming or UAB
5. Home against a buy team from Cayman Classic
6. Home against a buy team from Cayman Classic
7. Mississippi State
8.
9.
10.
11.
12.
13.

Keep them coming

Last year OOC games wroth noting: R.I., Penn State, ISU, Butler and X. 5 basically. So far we have about 5 counting Wyoming/UAB. We need one more for sure and then possibly another Miss State type school.

Add 2 game of Wichita too.

I know the early season tourney we are in is not the best of the best, but Iowa and then either Wyoming/ UAB are not terrible games. Iowa finished #71 on KenPom and returns everyone on their team besides Jok and brings in two 4-star guys. Same situation for either Wyoming/ UAB, teams that were OK and return the majority of their pieces from last season. It's reasonable to expect them to be better.

Overall, I like the way our schedule is shaping up. With the early season tourney, if we can get to play a potential conference winning team ( like Albany) I will be happy. Just have to avoid playing the Fairleigh Dickinson's of the world if we can.

We should have 4 Albany type buy games, so it only leaves a couple games left. Hope they can be good ones

Does a home and home with a team like WVU or Louisville or even Texas seem far fetched?? I personally wouldn't mind playing any of those 3 teams as they are on the same level as us!! Would help with recruiting too IMO!

Texas wishes they were on the same level as us.
