2017 Football Recruiting

No Recruits

U.C. has not rec'd a commitment since June. What is going on? It seems like all other schools are getting tons of recruits in July and August
 
Still only 12 football recruits for 2017. Just reviewed each of the prospects in detail. None of the twelve received offers from schools of note. All MAC, IVY LEAGUE and similar conferences.
I'm sure these are all good kids....
This is the fourth year of recruiting for Tub. Spiraling..........
 
I can't imagine that all the talk about the head coaching change wanted is not hurting recruiting. If the recruiting is being hurt now, that will in turn hurt the new coach. I hope Tubs is given at least one more year to prove his worth.

Penn State just landed a big commitment from 4* 2018 DT QB Justin Fields. I wouldn't be surprised if 2017 Sean Clifford (4* QB, Cincinnati) becomes available??
 
Blake yager re commits to uc and fickel. Very nice juco prospect 6'5" 300 pounds. His final four was uc, bayler, West Virginia, and western Michigan (pretty solid list).Here's a paragraph from an article on him from bearcat report with quotes.


*"We just talked football and family." Yager said on the conversation between himself and the Bearcats new head coach.

What led him to his decision to re-commit?

"Fick, the dude's a winner. No doubt about it. I will be signing Thursday and I could not be more excited to be a Bearcat and to play for Coach Fickell. I promise the UC you saw on the field last year you will not ever see again."*

Beautiful. Fickell is a genuine guy. Glad the recruits see it.
 
TURNING THE PAGE

As many of you know, I was a supporter of TT. It is time to turn the page, and not be like some in the Democratic Party. I am wondering what is going on behind the scenes with UC recruiting. You got to have the horses to win big time. Can't imagine Luke Fickell sitting around not trying to lay some ground work with his coaching staff or recruiting. Any news??
 
Looking like jarell white from lasalle is one of uc's top targets. He will be visiting soon I bleieve. Looks like he really likes the idea of staying home from quotes I read. Good athlete pretty decent offers as well
