According to bearcatReport.com dedrick Mackey a three star commit to Purdue will be visiting us as well. He had a very close relationship with coach freeman who was at Purdue when he committed.

Freeman brings toughness to Defense

All-american linebacker at OSU for Fickell. In charge of linebackers at Purdue for last 4 years. Reports say he recruits well and brought some toughness to a toothless Purdue defense. Biggest strength appears to be his high character and commitment to players. Seems like a trend here....
If I'm a current UC player I'd be getting excited about all this!
 
Big UC Target Jarell White will be announcing his commitment tomorrow at 3PM. 4* ATH out of La Salle. Would be a great way for Fickell to start out

Yeah I know he had a quote saying he was Fickell's top priority. I feel very good about it.

Seems like its moving in a good direction. He'd be a great pickup and more importantly it is a statement that this staff is going to recruit the city hard. Tuberclown said all the right things (We're going to recruit the region hard) but didn't deliver. Fickell hasn't even taken over full time yet and has had more success than the previous staff did in 4 years. Hopefully we get good news tomorrow.

It's nice seeing a coach recruit this area out of the gate instead of the lip service Tubs gave us. Pretty sad when one of the best athletes in last year's class, DeShaunte Jones doesn't even get a phone call until it's already too late and then to lose Larkin.
 
Is Torrance Gibson considering us? because I see multiple UC Twitter account retweeting news about him not enrolling to Ohio State but can't find anything else linking him to us.
