2017 General Recruiting

Yeah from Cleveland. Former 5 star prospect. Forward. We have the PT. Curious if Mick would be interested. I don't know much about him. Maybe Jake can give us an opinion?

Basketball-wise, I'd want him in a heartbeat. Just didn't really work out for him at KU but he's very talented. He'd benefit here from an emphasis on weights an toughness.

Bill Self went to bat for him after his incident early in the year. Seems like he had inside info on the situation bc I know a lot of people couldn't believe he wasn't kicked off the team based on the public info at the time.

Had another incident too though. Rumor around here is that he took the fall for Frank Mason on the drug paraphernalia thing in January. No clue how much there is to that.

Not sure he really fits in here all that well. The coaching staff I'm sure would do their due diligence on him. So if we got involved in his recruitment, I'd assume someone put in a good word for him. And like I said, basketball-wise, he'd be a great get.

Mick will definitely be interested. Got suspended last season for three games when his dorm was searched I believe they found a bong or something along that line (honestly that's nothing really). Sit out one and have two left. He said he is looking for a fresh start, talented kid great frame 6-10, 240

At least on the surface, this feels like a perfect land for UC imo. Clark and Wash gone, need someone to fill in immediately who'd be ready.

I think we would take him. Probably will be Up to him on where he goes. I think he will get bigger schools interested. Maybe even Ohio state

Does OSU take in transfers much? Could be wrong, but I thought they were all about 4-year players only.

Not sure. You would think they would need any talent they could get. Haven't had a great couple of years.

Either one of these guys would come in to a perfect situation. Get to sit out and practice for a year, have two seniors graduate just in time for them to step in to a top 20 team. If we can't get the high prospects, transfers are a great way to get talent
