No more 2 star projects.
Can you even name the last time we took a two star?

I would be so happy about Nassir Little just don't know how realistic it is when I read a headline that UNC is calling lol. Seems like Cronin is taking the time and effort but he knows when to back off. Kinda like how he said he knew he couldn't get Luke Kennard so it was time to go get Jacob Evans.

We have a nice opportunity to offer. NC (and other places) he might have to sit more than he would like.
We don't have a clear starter after this year. It depends on how much he sees our other bigs as road blocks but they certainly aren't guys who would make you think there is definitely no playing time available...or even more importantly starter spots locked down.
If little or anyone is good, they will get playing time anywhere.Little night see a direct path to PT here. And maybe he loves our staff. Who knows. But if Evans is here for a year in front of him, then gets drafted, that's gotta open the eyes of some wings in this class. Our best pro prospects have all been of that mold. Gonna be a great opportunity for somebody.
Getting in to a p5 conference isn't happening anytime soon in my opinion. probably should give up on that pipe dreamImmediate playing time is big but conference affiliation will always be a obstacle. My prayer is we some how find our way into a P5 conference. Until then 4 year players and transfers will be the biggest difference makers for our program. One and doners will be a very rare for our program at this point in time.
can't really disagree with you. It is a sad reality thoughGetting in to a p5 conference isn't happening anytime soon in my opinion. probably should give up on that pipe dream

Wynston Tabbs, a class of 2018 PG playing for Team Melo (MD), just picked up an offer from Cincinnati.

Is anyone else getting fed up when you see the names of Jerome Hunter and Darius Bazley (Ohio guys) and nothing on UC recruiting them. They are top guys in 2018, from Ohio, yet you see Purdue, Xavier, Michigan, and OSU on them.
I trust Cornin, I really do, but I do get frustrated about this kind of stuff, especially seeing what Luke Fickell is pulling off.
I have no doubt that Mick is trying. I think he's trying to figure out how *much* to try, though. You don't want to put all kinds of time and effort into a kid that has no interest in going to your school. Mick said a year or two ago that once he realized Luke Kennard had no interest in UC, he moved on and started focusing on Jacob Evans, who we obviously ended up landing. If Mick had continued to pursue Kennard, we never would've landed Evans.
I think we're able to land Cincy kids (KJ, Cumberland), but it feels like we have a tough time with Ohio kids 50+ miles outside of Cincy.
Yeah I know I agree but when it's Duke that a kid wants to go to over your school it's a little more understanding then the other schools I listed.
But what do you do if a kid from the start isn't returning your calls or texts as the head coach of a school? Do you just continue to contact him and attend his games? I want recruiting to pick up as well; believe me. I just don't know what the solution is (in regards to things the university can control).

Yeah I guess I just cant understand how 2 top kids in Ohio have zero interest in coming here, and neither are going to a Duke/UK type school but have interest in the other local schools. I guess that is what makes me angry.
