WSU at SMU today, a chance for Wichita to finally get a good conference win and boost their resume, Smu is a lot farther of the bubble than wsu so I’m rooting for Smu.

We're still in the field in Lunardi world. We're actually the fourth team in, sitting above Wichita St, Utah St, and Stanford.

I think this year is going to be tough on everybody. The resumes are so different. It's going to be impossible to guess how the committee will value them.

Lunardi has the biggest audience, and he says we are squarely on the bubble with 5 conference losses. I'll take it.

i gotta say i really didn't think we could finish this poorly and still be right there.

remember when we were wondering if we just lost @houston and @ wichita state if that would be enough?

that would have moon walked in.

In Monday's bracketmatrix update we're the last team in, with 52 of 96 brackets:

Rutgers (89)
Stanford (80)
Utah St (54)
UCLA (53)
Cincinnati (52)
------------------
Rhode Island (50)
NC St (38)
Richmond (25)
Miss St (20)
Texas (19)

We dropped to the first team out in Dave Ommen's bracket. Stanford, Texas, NC State, and Wichita St are his last four in.

I think we're in trouble. It's crazy how many big games the other bubble teams have won in the last week. I think our at-large ceiling is last four in at this point. So if even a few teams pass us, we're toast. That could be a bid steal, a Rhode Island win over Dayton tonight, a Stanford win in either of their last two games, or a Richmond win at Duquesne.

If we don’t make it to the conference championship game I think we are done and obviously we have to beat temple on senior night

Obvious Bid Stealing conference (non P5/BE/AAC) tourneys to monitor/root for the below teams:

MWC - SDSU
A10 - Dayton
ASUN - Liberty
Ivy - Yale
MVC - Northern Iowa
Southern - ETSU
MAC - Akron

The bolded teams above could definitely produce bid stealers. I don't think Liberty, Yale, or Akron have realistic chances. Stephen F Austin from the Southland has a better resume than any of those teams in my opinion. They have a win at Duke and only three total losses.

I think they're worthy to monitor, since you never know what the committee overvalues on a given year. SFA has a lower NET than all the teams above.

I don't get it either. UNI's season is finished though. Any wins for us could move us in front. Also, Lunardi has Tulsa in as the AQ. So if there are no bid steals, we would be in.

it’s definitely a bias for us, all the other bubble teams are talking about us having 4 q3 losses
