Help Support BearcatTalk:

I don't want there to be an issue, but all indications are that there are. I'm just following the bearcats related news and rumors. I'd gladly talk about our recruits and prospects for next year. But since we have no recruits and virtually every player may transfer, this is the exciting news story regarding next year.

Saunders literally said he left because of the coach, Harvey conspicuously left out the coaching staff in his farewell tweet, Brannen's wife went on a spree liking tweets that trashed Harvey/Saunders for leaving.

Some of the most connected people (Lobot, Justin Williams, Chad) have indicated that there is a disconnect between some of the players and the staff. And that we should expect more guys to transfer.

And that's just the stuff from today. If you want to go back in time, there is plenty more.

If you think there isn't a behind the scenes problem it's because you are sticking your head in the sand. The question now isn't if there is a problem, but how big it will get and if Brannen will make it to year 3. If it gets much bigger (all indications are that it will), the next question is if we can get these guys to come back if we fire Brannen.

I would bet dollars Brannen will not be fired this year. So far Saunders is the only guy that’s left that I think means anything. If things were so terrible why did Dou opt back in? Why did dd opt back in? Why is dermarr tweeting that the guys he talked to didn’t indicate a coaching issue?

Basically, almost every college player doesn’t like their coach, or unhappy with playing time. Grass isn’t always greener

The more I'm hearing the more I think this solely is around Harvey complaining about playing time and John basically saying tough s***. If that's the case I'm good sticking with John

If Saunders is the only guy, than Brannen will stay. But what happens if/when Eason, Mason and/or Davenport opt out?

Justinhub is the Dou expert. Per what he has said, I believe Dou actually did opt out for personal reasons (probably baby related) and came back because he wants to play basketball. He thinks Brannen is a jerk, but was willing to put up with it to play basketball.

DDJ I think actually like Brannen. Perhaps DerMarr talked to him. Not every player on the team dislikes Brannen, just most of them it seems. Remember, even after the players revolt at WSU, they still had 5 scholarship players stay.

Yeah, I keep waiting for some for some kind of ground breaking information. Nothing so far

Such a weird situation. I’m just in awe of what he could have done to upset every recruit he recruited.

The only good thing out of Tari transferring is that his mom will probably let us know what's up sooner rather than later.

The bad thing is that each guy who leaves makes it more likely that the next guy will.

I doubt Brannen will be the coach here much longer (in terms of weeks, not years). Regardless of what happened, it's going to be next to impossible for him to recruit with no track record of success here and most of his team bailing on him. Fire Brannen, hope we can get some guys to back out of the transfer portal and hope the rebuild takes less then 5 years.

When have you seen a whole team leave? I’ve never seen that. It’s unbelievable. There could be more leaving. I wouldn’t even blame them at this point. What’s the point in staying. Go get on a good team

If they are going to fire him, it needs to be soon. So we can get players. We don’t have any at the moment
